Magical Mysterical March Bus departing early! All aboard those hoping that the equinox will bring us lots of BFPs

ThoraNomiki · 25/01/2014 17:13

I'm kicking off the March Bus early. Due to long cycles, I doubt I'll be getting a BFP in Feb. Anyone care to join me?

Apparently it is the Goddess of Fertility Day on 18th March. So I'm hoping this will be the luckiest bus of the year so far!
I'm putting all my spare energy (after DTD, of course Wink ) into invoking all things woo. So this bus is painted green (the colour of fertility), decorated with moonstones and lotus flowers and will be making regular stops at Maccy D's for Creme Egg McFlurries (for the Egg shape and the chocolatey, fondantey goodness ).

ThoraNomiki TTC#2, cycle 4 (month 14/15) BFP due (at a guess) 14th March

I feel the same, af is due next week and then after that we can crack on!! Have been waiting forever and now it's just round the corner I'm more impatient than ever!! Trying desperately not to think about it but it's easier said than done.

GoWestcountry · 18/02/2014 09:06

I just managed to post on the other march bus thread by accident. Oops!

Anyway, was wondering how everyone was doing? AF has arrived for me, I'm starting to feel a bit anxious about it all. If I do get pregnant again I think I'm going to be permanently terrified that something is going to go wrong again.

CallingAllEngels · 18/02/2014 17:51

I think anxiety is natural after any loss, but especially what you've been through gowest.

I am so jealous of anyone who can go through pg without any feeling of worry (though actually I guess that's pretty unlikely for anyone!). After 2mc I find it very hard to just enjoy the early stages.

AFdue Friday and then all steam ahead here.

Sorry thora didn't answer your earlier question. Didn't get all clear from hospital till mid January post-mc, and missed ov, then we decided to skip one month so that I can attend BF wedding in UK in autumn (I'm a BM and she doesn't live 7n UK either so we don't see each other much - I wouldn't even consider waiting for anyone else). If I do get pg 1st cycle this time, I'll be about 33weeks pg during wedding so still able to travel (no flights).

CallingAllEngels · 23/02/2014 07:21

AF is finally here! Few days late, so revised BFP date of 23rd March.

MrsGingerbread · 23/02/2014 07:49

Did somebody say McFlurries?

I'd like to join a quiet bus because I'm new and still learning how things around here work. :)

TTC #1 Cycle 1 bfp due 21/3

So excited/scared all at once. :)

CallingAllEngels · 23/02/2014 11:17

Hi MrsG. It's a very quiet bus, but hopefully things will pick up once more of us are in the 2ww.

indigo55 · 23/02/2014 11:31

Hi all, im due BFP early March so hope its ok to hop on this bus. Hopefully this is the month for all of us, fx!! Im ttc#1 cycle 2. Currently in my first week of ttw and its going ever sooooo slowly.
Getting impatient as really hoping for a bfp and would love a November baby.
Also love mc flurries mmmmmmmm :)
Xx

MrsGingerbread · 23/02/2014 13:47

Welcome indigo!

Good luck for early March. Let us know how you get on!

nosaint · 24/02/2014 00:04

Hi as I hop onto the mystical March bus! I am ttc#1 cycle 8, and have decided just shagging may not be enough effort, so hopefully this springtime bus will bring good luck!

By the way, does anyone else get ambivalent about getting pg? Unsure if it's the right step?

GoWestcountry · 24/02/2014 09:20

Calling I know exactly what you mean about being jealous of people who don't have all these things to worry about I miss the naive optimism we had with my first pregnancy!

Hello MrsG, indigo and nosaint! Welcome aboard! Nosaint I worry sometimes that I'm not ready for another baby and we won't cope-I think it's the unknown that's scary-however prepared you are I think it's still a massive shock having a baby.

I need to amend my BFP date too, my cycle seems to be a bit shorter than I realised so its due 15th March ish. Some of you guys must be nearing POAS time soon?

nosaint · 24/02/2014 10:08

Hi Gowestcountry, hi everyone, good morning! Smile Got af yesterday, and am super sensitive! Best to lay low today, I reckon.

EnglishGirlAbroad · 24/02/2014 10:16

Hi Ladies, jst thought i'd pop my head in and let you all know that there is another March thread if you want to combine and head over? Fingers crossed March is our month!!

GoWestcountry · 26/02/2014 09:09

Hi English, I think some of us are lurking on the other thread but it just moves so quickly!

EnglishGirlAbroad · 26/02/2014 09:14

I agree, it does!! Just thought i'd say hi and let you know Smile Good Luck ladies!!

CallingAllEngels · 04/03/2014 08:18

Has everyone jumped ship? Heading towards ov here. Anyone in the 2ww or even POAS time?

MrsGingerbread · 04/03/2014 08:28

Hi Engels,

I'm at the same point as you by the sound of it.

Lots of people have joined the other March thread (green sheets and pom poms). They are a very friendly bunch - pop over. :)

Also, they seem to be having a lot of luck! !

GoWestcountry · 04/03/2014 08:33

Hi Engels,

I'm in my 2ww now, time is going veeeeery sloooowly!

I've been lurking on the other thread a bit as this one seemed to have ground to a halt-they do seem to be very lucky so far!

Smile I thought i'd update the stats just in case people still wanted to ride here or both buses.
I think I'm in the latter end of the tww. Not feeling hopeful.
I've had major cramps and breast tingles for the last few days. I've been googling - trying to convince myself that they are early pregnancy cramps! I've also been checking my cervix obsessively which is just adding to my confusion. I fear I may need to find myself a grip.

How is everyone else?

OP posts:
CallingAllEngels · 05/03/2014 12:55

I'm still about!

Should ov this weekend, opks at the ready. Time is still going slowly!

It's a;ways hard to keep your mind off it Thora . I'm trying to distract myself with shortbread and TV Smile (on half term, not just a lazy cow!)

ThoraNomiki · 05/03/2014 18:32

I thought I was due AF Friday but I had my first ever positive OV test yesterday eve! So all that pain was probably my ovaries trying to pop out an egg. I'm excited now Grin

OP posts:
CallingAllEngels · 05/03/2014 18:37

Grin thora !

Seekingsense · 06/03/2014 18:11

Hello, can I hop on the quiet bus a little late?

TTC: #1
Cycle: 1
BFP/AF due: 11th

Completely scared about having another today as my toddler has been in an awful mood all day and I currently can't picture how I'll handle two.

Hopefully, tomorrow will be easier.

Good luck everyone.

Sparrowlegs248 · 06/03/2014 18:58

Evening! I'm on the other bus but when i saw this thought i'd join here too!! Ttc #1 c10 bfp due 18th march!! So praying to the goddess as we speak!

Seekingsense · 07/03/2014 08:57

I'm CD day 10 today and got a very very faint second line on an early first response test.

It's so faint that by the time I've taken a photo of it and uploaded it - you can no longer see the line, but it's definitely on the test.

Does this count? Can I get excited yet?
