LH big congrats :)

Kitty that was so funny, when I read it, it was in captain picards voice and everything lol!

Jo178 · 12/01/2014 15:57

Hi, please can I join too? TTC #2, DD is 2.2. Came off cerazette at the beginning of December, AF started on Jan 1 so now on CD12 and using opks as this was how we conceived DD. Have read horror stories online about cerazette so keeping fingers crossed. Currently driving myself mad waiting for positive opk!

lucyfluff · 12/01/2014 15:57

Whoop congrats to the proper bfp lines choccy and LH Smile

Your have to join our aug thread LH Grin

missmrsmummy · 12/01/2014 16:04

Haha Kitty I like it!

MrsMalbec · 12/01/2014 16:51

Such a mix of highs and lows and grrs at AF! So stressful huh? We've been trying for a while, after a miscarriage last year. AF is due Thursday, and if she comes she better bring a large glass ( or two ) of vino with her! Hearty congrats for all the BFP's. Here's hoping it's lucky for the rest if us.

barmybunting · 12/01/2014 16:59

Congratulations LH, it's about time that BFP showed up, cd63!! I am really pleased for you!

Choccy, so pleased to see good news on here for you with your bfp!

I think (or rather, I have decided based on a few random signs) that I am about 7dpo at the moment as I seemed to ov earlier than last month (think this month was about cd20). Although it's far too early to test, I will be testing on Tuesday at 9dpo because it is my Grandad's 90th birthday and that seems like a good omen to me! It will no doubt be a bfn at that point whatever the outcome, but it has to be done Smile.

lifehasafunnywayofhelpinguout · 12/01/2014 17:09

Hi. I've not been on mumsnet for a while as I have been very busy due to working commitments plus I didn't really have much to report. D.P went away for new year with friends so we saw each other for the first time in 2 weeks on Friday and we certainly made up for lost time. (Big smile) My period is due tomorrow so fingers crossed it doesn't arrive. Congratulations to all the B.F.P's sorry to all those with B.F.Ns good luck for next month and also good luck to those like myself who are still waiting. xxx

LittleMissSunshine33 · 12/01/2014 17:13

Congrats LH and choccy! That must be so exciting to get a line!
Kitty that was so funny read it to my DP too ... He tried to make up his own one with not much luck!

Welcome newbies! Jo my CD started on the 1st as well I got a smiley last night, not sure if I should do it again tonight or just keep DTD now?!

KittyVonCatsington · 12/01/2014 17:29

I would DTD today and tomorrow, LittleMiss, then take a break for one day, then do it again once more for luck. Was just thinking that we need to have another smiley added to the list below; a shamrock for wishing someone good luck!

Sleepingstarsmommy · 12/01/2014 17:37

Ruby Thanks Burying your child is the hardest and most heartbreaking thing I've ever been through but I am with you on sitting down crying endlessly doesn't help anyone. My son was prematurely born sleeping and was buried in October and whilst I felt liking hiding from the world, I knew if I allowed myself to do this I might not ever pick myself up. It is hard though every time you get a bfn - broke down and sobbed for a while last time AF got me. Fingers crossed we get our rainbow soon xxx

I hit peak yesterday so dtd am and pm yesterday and will try and find the energy to seduce DH later although Id really just like a night off as I am shattered

JustMarriedBecca · 12/01/2014 17:44

Symptom update (TMI)

Got some browny CM this evening with some brown pinheads of mucus in it. I don't usually get it (but in fairness would be the first time I've properly looked). I've also noticed that my urine smells funny which apparently might be a sign of pregnancy. Have had cramps again this morning but no nausea since first thing.

Have horrible feeling this might be AF although would make it a 23 day cycle, not a 26 day cycle. Obviously still hoping for it to be implantation but doubt it and is likely AF. If it is AF after all of these symptoms I am locking the bathroom door and not coming out.

missmrsmummy · 12/01/2014 18:03

Same thing happened to me last month Becca but unfortunately it was just early AF! Fingers crossed it's not for you! So I don't know how long my cycle is any more!

rossby · 12/01/2014 18:39

Exactly the same thing has happened to me Becca - yesterday and today, CD 21-22 and about 7DPO. But have cramps too so think it's probably early AF. But you never know! (or at least not until it actually arrives..)

LH1981 · 12/01/2014 19:19

Thanks Ladies! Can't quite believe it!!
Lucy where do I find the Aug antenatal link pls?

choccy thanks! I'm hoping that it's the earlier date that I got pregnant, as obviously that will put me further along. My boobs are agony!!! Don't know if that's an earlier or a later symptom. Just checked on NHS site and it puts me at 7 weeks, due 27th August.
So, are your lines only just strong now?

Sorry to those AF got this month - good luck next round!

I'm just soooo happy to be out of limbo land!!
Ginger - when is you blood test? x

EnglishGirlAbroad · 12/01/2014 19:50

Bloody hell LH what super news! After so long!! Very happy for you and hope you are dated as further along! So exciting!! Grin

spinningirl10 · 12/01/2014 19:57

LH....if you go to topics....becoming a parent....ante-natal board, you'll find the Due in August thread thereGrin

Ruby....I'm so very sorry for your loss.

Honeybear30 · 12/01/2014 20:01

Evening all :) so I'm on cycle 3 and in my 2ww, no signs yet but af is due in a week so hoping I'll know sooner or later. Dh and I just received an invite to a wedding abroad in august. And so the dilemma begins! We have decided to wait at least this next week before we decide anything but I was just wondering thoughts and opinions from everyone? Really if I got pg before march then august is going to be a no no for flying but not sure I can drag out the decision that long!

EnglishGirlAbroad · 12/01/2014 20:06

Honey, I'd be inclined to accept and if you have to then change your mind do so. I'm sure they'd understand. As long as you don't drop them in it at the last minute. I dont think you should put your life on hold. Maybe just dont book flights etc until march.

barmybunting · 12/01/2014 20:07

Honeybear, do you want to go to the wedding? If you want to go, and would go if it were not for pregnancy, I would wait and see what happens re bfp/af next week, and then if horrible af turns up, say yes to the wedding. Just don't book your flights until after the march cut off. I'm sure any bride & groom would understand if you let them know in April given the wedding is in August, I would have done anyway hence my thinking.

Or is it someone close getting married that you can chat to about this?

bumpbangbump · 12/01/2014 20:08

Is there a reply be date on the invite honey? If its not for a while then just say you're looking forward to it and you'll send your RSVP soon. If you get your bfp you can just apologise and say you're sorry for taking so long to let them know.

ImaginaryHat · 12/01/2014 20:14

LH that's such wonderful news, congratulations, you deserve it after your limbo hell! Ginger, hope you get some answers soon too.

Ruby and sleeping, your stories are so very moving. Im wishing you all the luck in the world for a bfp soon Flowers

missmrsmummy · 12/01/2014 20:22

Honeybear I'd do what barmybunting says. I got married last summer and some people didn't RSVP at all - we had to chase them! That was annoying but someone declining a while before the wedding due to pregnancy would not have been a problem!

Plus, it's sod's law that if you plan to go to the wedding, you will get pregnant so go for it! ;-)

upnorth11 · 12/01/2014 20:25

Congratulations to all recent BFPs!! Really pleased for you esp as some of you had to wait for quite some time to get that BFP...

LH I followed your story and it gives me hope again.

Still completely in a limbo. No AF as yet CD37 (34-36 day cycle) though lots of PMS... slight cramping has come back this evening as if she is about to hit. And as completely emotional yesterday, crying for everything and nothing and DH in despair... then we went to the cinema tonight (12 years a slave - what a great film but, oh lord, it made me cry again...).

Well, my theory is that AF will strike tomorrow or I'll have one of these non-ov cycles that I had about 4 months ago (45 days limbo) but I thought that was a one-off back then. Will stop manic POASing now and wait for AF over the next few days.

Sorry for rambling on... had to let it all out tonight. Have a good week all xx

Honeybear30 · 12/01/2014 20:26

Thanks for replies :) I absolutely would love to go and would actually be quite disappointed if I couldn't! We don't have the official invite yet so I'm not sure on arrangements of exactly when they would need to know by. I'd rather hold off telling them we are trying if possible, but realise I might not be able to avoid this. We will def wait this cycle out and then maybe wait for full arrangements before making a decision as to what I need to say/commit to. I really don't want to put my life on hold as I fully understand this could take a long time but also don't want to lose lots of money booking a holiday I can't go on! Dh mentioned insurance but doubt they would refund just because I found out I was pg?

Honeybear30 · 12/01/2014 20:28

missmrs x post! Yes I get your point, Sod's law could do me a favour here!

upnorth I hope those are all pg signs and af doesn't arrive. Cd 37 sounds promising. X
