The other thing i did last time i got pregnant you might want to think about is; booking and paying for a trip of a lifetime £11000 ski holiday to the Canadian Rockys, then have to go and sit around the hotel all day while DH goes off skiing then spends the evenings regaling you with how great it was and he has to go to bed early as he's so tired...No?

Onelife me and DP bought a house recently and never in all the time decorating did we have a playful paint fight in fact it would have been impossible with me sulking in another room after he told me I wasn't doing it right. Its painting, not nuclear fission FFS.

Awh onelife your such a romantic at heart!!! But yes I'll be surprised if it results in dtd! DH and I are very affectionate most of the time but when painting it's best that I do very little or stay out of the way! It's soooooo stressful! And takes forever!!!! But good luck! Jenny - When i got pregnant with DS i had been temping for almost a year as we were ttc and i didn't want to start a new job then leave. After 8months of trying one of my temp places offered me an interview for a perm position in another dept. So i said yes, i can't put my life on hold and it doesn't look like it's going to happen soon. I got the job and accepted it on xmas eve. Had a skinful on xmas day. BFP on boxing day. Started new job on 3rd Jan. Spent the 1st 3 months puking, fainting, being sent home and even getting Optic Neuritis and being blind in one eye for 12 wks, oh yes and having a mini stroke and being diagnosed with probable MS. I had to tell them after 4wks as it was just so obvious - i was unrecognisable from the person before xmas - they must have wondered why the fuck the dept i worked for had recommended me.

For the risk of sounding repetitive, CD18 and another negative OPK. Am now pinning hopes on havin had a short LH surge of only a few hours and having DTD every other day since CD8 means I have caught it. Otherwise I am just a deluded fool... Oh well! Off to see Maroon 5 at the O2 this evening. Will have to move like Jagger instead

Officially have the best DH ever! Have had a crap couple of days, came home to spotless house, fave wine and food, big cuddle and told how much he loves me!!! Now I do have a lot to be thankful for I should remember this more often! What a sweetheart!! He so deserves to become a daddy soon!!!!

Hi ladies, at the risk of being all doom and gloom I need my virtual support network (you lot!) to give me mental hugs. I've just had a full on baby week and want to cry. Fed up of putting on a brave/happy face. I work in the baby industry which is hard enough without having the added reminder that I don't have a baby of my own when today two colleagues on mat leave came in with their new arrivals and another announced she's pregnant. Argh!! What a day. I can't even have wine to feel better as I'm being sponsored not to drink in Jan :'(

I know it's very self centred and of course I'm pleased for them all but...well..you know.

Pebble, this is a good place to offload the woe...we are always here to listen and offer virtual hugs or a slap, whatever you are in need of. I am often in need of the slapping!!!
As I'm an old timer i'd like to offer you some advice! You are just cycle 2 so really no need to worry, or feel at all it might not happen. Try and stay positive because if it does go on a while it is even harder to keep that chin up! I've no idea how how old you are or anything else, but really cycle 2 is early days. I understand how hard it is with people announcing pregnancies left right and centre, but your turn will come.

Mama - well done that DH of yours. You have a lovely evening and a great weekend. Rest up ready for plan peddle next weekend!

Oh no Pebble, i can't imagine anything more soul destroying than working in the baby industry and being desperate for a baby. One friend suffers with MC (she has had 8 to date). the last was quite far along. When another friend announced her pregnancy the first friend just got up and walked out. I really felt for her. She sent an email saying she needed to be alone for a while. So so heartbreaking. My sister tried for 13 years then had twins thru IVF, i was always dreading falling pregnant before her, but luckily that didn't happen.

Fingers crossed for you. Next month make sure you peddle extra hard

I think because I came off the pill in early October I stupidly thought I'd get pregnant within a week so although I'm officially cycle 2 from when I could track it,it feels like longer. They should really teach women everything rather than giving the impression of one missed pill=instant baby! You guys are all great though. Pulling myself together and will get down to DTD asap :-)

oh and might leave the peddling for the bathroom floor afterwards. Pretty sure DP would think me completely insane if he saw me. Haha.

Here? Made some pork and apple sausages today (love my kenwood chef!!!!) so they were just had for tea. Not bad for a first attempt I thought, although I put less herbs on than they recommended and they were still too herby!! Dh off out with his brother shortly, then ds will go to bed, then I have a meeting with a bath, lots of bubbles and a shitty girlie mag!!!
