LH, careful what you wish for, you could end up with my cycle which swings wildly from one to the other . I was sure I'd done my best persuading on DH in time to be on this bus too. Seems AF had different ideas

Koala- the stress has really only appeared in the last couple of days. My mother texting to make a mockery was in the last half an hour. The childcare can be sorted as I have two weeks leeway as dp is on holiday next week when I start my college course. So just pissed off tbh more than anything.

Had loads of cramping last night so assumed AF was on the way early (due Monday) but that's stopped now and I've just been to the loo and had a bit of ewcm with tiny streaks of blood in Only a really small amount but no idea what that is. I don't normally spot before AF. Why is it wanting to get pg makes normally regular cycles go absolutely doolally

Oh no Ginger, when you say 'make a mockery' was she being intentionally unpleasant? or just dicking about out of selfishness/attempting to help? PILs didn't even come to our wedding last year because it was too far to travel (1.5 hrs on a direct train ) but gleefully told us over xmas they were going to some random MIL met on the internets wedding in the middle of fucking nowhere, 5 hrs at least of indirect trains away

I've had a rubbish day!! Won't bore you with all the details but my ex dh is being a complete knob!!!!!!!!!

Me and OH told her we were looking at a church wedding as MIL to be is very religious and she text asking if we were having 2 ceremonies or just the church circus. When I replied saying she wasn't invited and having a go for calling the wedding a circus and how it didn't matter how we got married she just said we weren't been true to ourselves and we'd be walking on eggshells which is complete bollocks. She didn't even try and get me to change my mind.

Koala - she didn't want to get the bus to my wedding she thought I was joking. She said she'd get a taxi. Taxi is about 50/60 quid at least. And back it'll be more, Saturday night rates. she only saves money up when it suits.

So she's not coming anyway? What is her reason for not going to her DD's wedding? It's up to you how you get married - however, i know my dad would never step foot in a church so if we'd got married in one he wouldn't have come.

Speaking of Ginger - so sorry you're having such a crap time! Just ignore crazy ILs! I've been married for 12 years this year and that's what I do!! Honestly, you just cannot allow them to spoil your wedding day, it's such a special time that you won't get back. My advice would just be to suit yourselves, make yourselves happy and just be respectful and polite but not bend over backwards or give too much thought to her.

Well, i would say with her attitude i'd be relieved if she didn't turn up. That's what i said to DH about PILs - they would have ruined the day.

Lh - I actually like my ils! His dm knows we wouldn't have a church wedding no matter what she said so won't even try and push it. But mine didn't obviously as we'd suggested the church the other day. She barely speaks to me anyway. If it was up to her id be single without DS living off benefits and permanent babysitter for my dsis so she can go live the high life.

Been trying to get an appointment for blood test all week. My mother was only invited out of courtesy to avoid arguments tbh. She thinks black corset and sskirt above the knee is suitable attire. It's formal black tie attire and she's 45 and no twiggy. if anything it's probably a relief she's in theory definitely not coming now.

Spinning not yet. I know I should go to the docs but I just keep thinking it's a waste of time and that they'll fob me off. I keep delaying, thinking it will work out one way or the other eventually (either BFP or AF). But, I should get a blood test, because if I am pregnant, I guess that means I'm around 7 weeks and if there's (God forbid) anything wrong I should know sooner rather than later iykwim.

Question: I am using cb opk and it says once you get a smily face, dtd in the next 48 hours. So we did that and then stopped but (also didn't test again after the smily face) but should I have kept testing and dtd??

Missmrs I think you don't need to test again but I would say it need hurts to keep dtd as it just gives you more chance. It if you're not keen on dtd every night at least dtd the day of te smiley and then skip a day and do it once more.
