Hi All, Sorry i haven;t been engaging much just had a nightmare - recently moved in everything broken, on phone to companies complaining all day, away for xmas etc.

But just wanted to say congratulations to all the BFP and commiserations to all those that didn't get one this month. I remember last time it took us 8 months and every month i was heartbroken.

Anyway, by some mad stroke of fortune, thru the chaos and only shagging 3 times in the last month i got a BFP today ! Hurrah!

Cd28 and ff still hasn't detected ovulation hopefully it was over Xmas when I forgot to temp/chart. Bfn yesterday, but not too worried as no AF yet.

Yes, there is a silly old wives tale that says if you suddenly crave sweet things you're having as girl (sugar and spice and all things nice...)

I craved spicy food and salt all through both my last pregnancies and had 2 boys, so maybe there's something in it?

Not testing again until 23rd Jan, when I would expect next AF to show up. Unless of course she shows her very unwelcome face before then.

To be honest, I think this is our last month ttc.
Reason being, that we have a holiday planned for next Xmas in Australia to visit my sister for a month, so can't have a baby too close to that (I'm flying by myself with 2 kids already). We already have so many family birthdays around Oct-Dec (12 of them) so would be impractical (I know a minor silly reason) but most of all because my oldest ds is turning 7 and my youngest ds is turning 6 so I don't want any bigger an age gap.

We agreed we'd try for 6 months and see what happens. Nothing so far so if nothing by end of Jan, then we are going to count our - already many - blessings.

Hi can I join? I'm not very good company but this TTC journey is lonely even my husband doesn't get it! We have an appt. for the end of this months to start fertility investigations.

TTC #2 Month 13 AF due soon (I think judging by Cervical changes but I'm probably wrong)

CD 55 so I'm in limbo with some others except this is normal for me. Negative HPT's 25/12 31/12 and 07/01.

I'll try not to post my misery too often.

Sounds like you've been at this game a while - hope you get some answers when you have your appt. Did you have problems conceiving #1?

wrt ttc, I think dh will have the snip! His dad and brother have both had it done. So we've got to be sure that we're done with the baby thing!
Also, last night ds#2 woke in the night, frightened by some foxes making noise outside and we both found it such a shock to the system! We were like, omg can we seriously do this sleep-deprevation thing again lol - of course if we are successful this month we'll be over the moon. But if not, perhaps it was just meant to be iykwim.

My IC line got darker again this morning but I have af cramps too I'm 13dpo and af due tomorrow.

Oh I hope it isn't af and just some ligaments stretching,I'm freaking out

LH I'm not even usually a choc fan, love my crisps and savoury snacks but have been stuffing my face with chocs for days!!! Af better arrive today before I turn in to a bus.....but hey maybe I could be the next bus ;)

DH doesn't have any children of his own so we Definately want one more.....ive actually never seen him so happy since we started ttc....apart from the monthly disappointment! maybe it's all the sex! Rockin I think cramps is quite normal at the start, others seem to have had cramps thinking af on the way but got a bfp! So hopefully you will be fine! Know what you mean though I'm sure it's just worry worry worry from you get your bfp!

mama I can't wait for it to happen for you - siblings are so amazing to watch together, and will be so lovely for your dh!

My dh is less keen for a baby, so it's all my doing lol! He's come around to the idea and will be really pleased if it happens, but he wouldn't be crushed if we stuck at two. It might be because he's one of two boys and I'm one of three girls that's the difference? I'm used to a dynamic of three, plus I'd adore a girl (I know you can't choose and I'll be chuffed regardless), that might be the reason I feel we're not done.

DH is also very happy with all the dtd!! Normally he's a once a day kind of guy, and I'd be happy with once a fortnight week, so this suits him perfectly! . It's a turn of the tables when I have to beg him, rather than the other way round teehee!

Yes I was a "only at the wkend" type of girl, as always tired from work whereas DH would dtd anytime of day! How many times he can get it!!! Lol so he absolutely loves ovulation time of the month! Mama I would have normally had the egg first!!! Sod the soup!! However, not into choc still, which is still good.

I'm 10dpo for those that asked (maybe 11). I know it's uber early but I thought if IC was showing, the superdrug one would too. Must sit on hands now til Friday.
Also, white knickers are fab for crotch watch. No more brown as such but a very thin skid amount of something yellowy brown on them.

Must dash, dh making fried rice for late lunch with the leftover ham from Xmas
Then it's a chilled afternoon with a film or something.
Currently ds is fast asleep in his buggy from his morning at nursery so hoping we can eat before he wakes up lol!
