Yes Kmini!! That is me!!! I think it's almost a bit of an obsession, I have loads stashed all round the house...oops. Don't tell dp, not until we are married anyway!!!!!!

I just had to make an emergency trip to Boots for a forgotten Christmas present and I might have grabbed a twin pack of Frer. Will be testing in the morning if no sign of the witch.

Sleeping and kmini he's still in surgery, 4.5 hours so far so hope to hear in the next hour or so. Then I'll be dashing back to the hospital for the evening. We are so lucky to live nearby.

Question for the symptom spotters. I've had mild period pain type cramps for a few days now, but today I've also had a pulling feeling/cramping behind my belly button, does that sound good? Also boobs are getting less sore as I would expect before af, so confusing! Any thoughts?

My last BFP was on an asda but it didnt show positive until after AF was due.

Girls I'm thinking I went off into the possible bfp deep end earlier, the more I look at this mornings tests the more I genuinely think they are evap. I know there's still a chance, so not losing hope, I'm just trying to prepare myself for another bfn in the morning x

Update on my sister: she hasn't gone through early menopause but her oestrogen levels are very low and so is something else beginning with P, she can't remember what. This is why she doesn't have periods or ovulate. She also has an under-active thyroid which the doctor said he was surprised at because she's super skinny!
Anyway he's referring her to the hospital to see where she goes from here

Spinning fingers crossed they will be ably to sort it easily. And she should feel physically tonnes better physically just by treating her under active thyroid!!

Spinning it's not an area I know a great deal about. Hypothyroidism and PCOS are known to be linked. But I thought with PCOS oestrogen levels tend to be normal?? I may however be completely wrong about that. And it would be unusual (although not impossible) if she is a skinny minny wish I was

Is she being referred to gynae or an endocrinologist?

Sleeping, maybe the second one. I don't think she could take it all in and she couldn't recall everything he said. She has to have more blood taken next week and then he will refer her. I asked her to ask how long it would take to get the referral.

Baby, I don't know, she didn't know. She just said something beginning with P I guess she'll know more when she sees a specialist. I'll offer to go with her if her dh can't make it....2 heads are better than 1 at these appointments I guess!

DP update: 5.5hours of surgery = goodbye rubbish bowel. I was pretty relaxed today while he was in surgery but had a complete meltdown after visiting him this evening. I was totally unprepared for how awful he would look. He was on good form though, joking with the nurse about Father Christmas stopping in to do his obs. I had to stop by a friend's house on the way home for a hug and cup of tea to calm down.

I've started to get some spotting too this evening which I'm pretty sure is the start of AF, but we shall see. There's been quite a few of us on the bus reporting AF arriving and then buggering off again so I refuse to quit just yet.

Good luck to those who are poas partying in the morning, I'll have to wait and see.

I am not happy today but only in a I-Hate-My-Stupid-Body kind of way
I'm having cramps and boob tingles, but I've had it all before and then AF is awol for another month or so then other times I get it and AF turns up later that day. It's been 3 days now so more likely the former. Grrr!

Anyway loving that it's Christmas Eve sat with in hand, presents all wrapped under the tree and watching 'Paul'.
If I get a BFN tomorrow I know it won't ruin the day (I'm used to it now) but it would make a lovely gift to get a BFP.
