Shit...hospital just called to say hcg is still 14 so we shouldn't try. Have to go back for another blood test in 2 weeks (when I'm in the UK for Christmas so will have to be the week after). So frustrated and confused. Just want to be pg. Do we go ahead and dtd this weekend?

oh no thats pretty low though isnt it? Isnt a hcg of 5 the 'rule'??

Re dtd if you did get pg again surely the new hcg would register later and you would know its a new pg?? I may be completly wrong lol

Oh Calling that's pretty rubbish!! I would just carry on and try....there's no medical reason not to is there? Is it just to make it easier for them to date it should you become pregnant?

Hi ladies with faint BFPs

I got one this morning I normally wait till 3 days late (as have had chemical pregnancies when a few days late followed by heavy AF) but DH has Christmas do, so wanted to know if safe to drink etc, have now got good abscess / antibiotic story

Like Lucy, I want to see the line darkening before I go, so will wait a few more days before graduating.

Mine is line is light but thick like the control line, and pink like the control line. I just checked and it hasn't disappeared from 6am this morning .

So a little surprised we caught first time we took it serious with dtd at 8, 10, 12 & 14, the previous months we've managed to DDT just once.

The odd thing was globby cm after I thought I'd ovulated and had ewecm. Google says this may be plug forming. I also had white lotion like discharge post ovulation but just seemed more watery than normal, basically this month I never dried up. Sorry if TMI, I like to hear others symptoms but this nay not be for all x

So big sorries to those off the bus, and congrats to all the bfps, and fingers crossed to 2ww'ers.

Will keep you posted on whether the lines darken.

I'm having stretchy feelings in abdomen, and have had no spots thus month.

I think they just want to amke sure than any BFP is not due to "retained products" or a molar pg, especially since the reason I'm having to go through the hospital is that my HCG continued to go up for 2-3 weeks after mc.

If we did conceive this weekend then HCG would go up by the time of my next appointment so I'd have to confess and come clean.

DH says sod it, let's just go for it. After my last mc I got pg the next cycle wirh DS, so hoping it's lucky for us. Certainly didn't have all this hassle...bfn within 2 weeks.

Engels, I had a MMC between my 2 CD's at 12 weeks, I was told that if your body isn't ready, it won't hold any pregnancy so no point waiting. I had 2 nightmare cycles with breakthrough bleeding 35 dags etc. The minute I had a normal cycle, along came DS2! You can get pregnant and I'll bet the next little one is a sticky bean :-) xxx

That's reassuring bunny. AF has been (2 weeks ago) which is normally a sign you can get started. Confusingly, the dr told me I didn't have to wait for AF but I did have to wait for 0hcg.

oh well, will just have to come clean and be a bit if we are lucky this month (and get told off in Dutch!).

Gone out and bought proper tests tonight, but too scared to use them... I feel pregnant. My belly is tender and sore, with lots of tweaks and twinges. If this isn't pregnancy, I think I should probably go to A&E! But tonight's IC shows no line at all... Another long night waiting for FMU I think, and I'll try a CB test then. This is so much harder than I thought it would be...

Hey all, just checking into this thread as I would have been testing this week if all had gone to plan. Instead I was already pg when I joined! Was mostly sure I wasn't because I'd had no symptoms whatsoever. I'm 8 wks now and only just started feeling sick this week so I hope that's reassuring to those of you without symptoms. So lovely to see so many more bfps. Congrats everyone!

I think I may now be in the 2ww now...I think I ov'd yesterday...or possibly today? Yesterday I had clear +ve opk and a stitch like pain on my right, and today I still have a line on opk but not as dark as control line - which is -ve right? So would you say I ov'd yesterday or today by those details?

Congrats to the new bfps - even though lots seem faint, it seems all good to me. This bus is so crazy lucky it is so exciting to read even if it's not my turn this month!

Calling if you take a preggo test does it say negative? If so I'd say carry on and just see what happens!

Spinning I'm so excited I got the letter today confirming it all. I've bought a new dress - going to wear my official wedding dress for a photoshoot when we get back so we can have albums made for family members, but suddenly realised the other day - who will actually fasten me into my dress up there?! So I've opted for a simpler version and I couldn't be happier I am due af/bfp around 27/28/29 so hoping against all hope that I can test for a bfp on our wedding day

This bus is the most amazing place to be...although my name is not up there in lights, I'm thrilled to be part of all this pregnancy excitement!!! Xx
