Sorry, been awol yesterday, Xmas is crazy town in my house this year!

I tested yesterday eve with a CB and BFN. Think I must have been imagining the other lines
The strange thing is, I'm late. I have no sore boobs like I normally have pre-AF. I've been really hot and sweaty, where I'm normally freezing! And, I had such a rush of nausea this morning I thought I was going to hurl!

Just want AF to show her ugly face if she's going to so I can get it out of the way before Xmas!

LH....sorry you got a bfn but still sounds positive! I've been suffering from nausea as well, thought I was going to have to leave ds's carol concert the other night. Very odd! I've had 3bfn now though so I think I should just accept I'm not pregnant this month and try for a more relaxed approach next cycle!!!

LH - how late are you? It still sounds promising if you ask me...FX that she doesn't show and you get a bfp. Maybe test again if no AF next monday?

Spinning - I say I'm going to be relaxed every month and I start with good intentions then go crazy in the 2ww! I just caught myself going through my old diary to see what I was doing in the week leading up to my first bfp with my ds...to see if I remember feeling any different or whatever. Obviously I couldn't - I never had any symptoms with my first, so I don't know what I was expecting to find!
I think I'd be calmer if I wasn't here on MN the whole time, trouble is I like it too much to go away but it certainly fuels my crazy lady side!

Spinning, are you 11 days dpo like me? If you are then theres loads of time yet! Don't give up, I need my POAS buddy!

I know what you mean spinning, it's too easy to subconsciously convince yourself that you are, then be disappointed when it turns out you're not. Oh well, still got Xmas celebrations to look forward to so it's not all doom and gloom

Sazzle, I'm on cd38 now. Last few cycles have been 36 days. Does anyone know how late ovulation can occur? I'm thinking that by now, if I was pregnant then it would HAVE to show up on a hpt, as normal ovulation is usually cd14-cd18?

Ladies I didn't get a BFP until 4 days after AF was due last time despite testing everyday for about a week before I was convinced I was pregnant right up until the night before I got my BFP. I was waking up in the night and feeling hot. Husband came in from work at midnight one night and my first response was I feel sick which I don't think was the welcome he was expecting. Due date came and went and was still getting bfn, then one evening I had really bad back ache and cramps which I thought meant AF was about to appear. Even padded up in readiness. But morning came and AF was yet to arrive so being the POAS addict that I am I tested and got my BFP!!! I have been pregnant 4 times, and I have only got a BFP once before my due date so ladies hang in there!!

oooh LH, how late are you!? Wait 24hrs and test again ?

Spinning the more I read, the more I realise that most people don't really seem to get their BFP's until 13dpo+. At 11dpo it's still a couple of days outside normal implantation ranges (I've been reading up!) and if no implantation, no HCG and no BFP so hang in there. FX for you.

I am fidgeting. Looking for ways to while away 45mins. I missed a call from Doc as I was driving just before the surgery closed for lunch now I have to wait until 2.30 for them to open again... tick, tock, tick, tock..

Hi everyone, sorry I've not been around, some horrid things going on at home - unfortunately the in laws are not very nice people and are trying to cause trouble for us. They have found out about our secret wedding and are not happy. Anyway...give me a few hours to catch up!!

Ah bexboo!! I know someone whos had terrible inlaws!! And have been treated appallingly by them! I know how bad they can be and how stressful they are but I dont think people realise how serious the problem is unless they have been through it or seen others go through it so big hugs to you and keep your head high!!! Its your wedding and your day so you can do what the heck you want! takes a breath, and passes you a large vodka

Oh Bex, I'm so sorry about your in laws causing problems for you. I fell out with some of my family when I left me ex dh. It was such an awful time, some of them still won't speak to me, their loss!! Please don't let it ruin your wedding day xx

On other news I'm 7dpo today...how early to people usually test? I'm trying my very best to hold out til nye (obviously if no AF by then) as would love to find out on our wedding day but doubt very much I will be able to wait another week and a half...the IC's are already shouting me from my dressing table drawer x

Bexboo im 7 dpo too!! Im going to test on 23rd and if I get bfn ill do it again on xmas day. Maybe try and hold out till 10 dpo?
