My best friend had ICSI last week

She had 2 embryos transfered

She is now on DAY 5 after transfer

She has got a stitch sort of ache or sort of a windy kind of pain

It is kind of on both sides sort of about bikini line height

Please can someone halp me to help her

HAs anyone had discomfort like this on day 5

She is having progesterone pessaries.

Could this be the embryos embedding into the lining?

Has anyone had this please?

What was the result?

She hasn't had any bleeding yet?

Did it continue?

Please help me to help her

Thanks

Yeah I agree best to ring her clinic to make doubly sure, I just saw the link and it said it was normal to feel bloated etc but if she's in pain she should deffo ring just in case. I'm not qualified to say everything is normal I just find links lol. Do as Pruni says deffo.

anthonykiedisbitontheside · 17/07/2006 22:25

I've never said deffo as much in my life you ahve this effect on me RTKM Seriouslt thogh tell friend to ring clinic to put her mind at rest. I hope she's ok and wish her all the luck in the world.

I think she should ring the clinic to make sure
A friend had OHSS (quite badly I think). however, she did go on to have twins and then another boy 2 years later from the embryos she had frozen at the same time. So it's not neccessarily bad news. They won't mind her calling at all

BROWNY · 18/07/2006 14:39

Bumping up as promised!

RTKangaMummy · 19/07/2006 10:26

Thanks guys

I did warn her about OHSS after these posts

I didn't realise that it could be AFTER transfer

She hasn't got the pain anymore and thinks it was wind

You guys are all deffo brill
