BFPs popping out from Christmas crackers and stockings - The December bus is lining up to find bfps under that tree!

honey I'd try to tempt dh to dtd again tonight.. maximise your chances and all. I think ewcm is generally in the lead up and ov day to aid his swimmers.

Hmmm I don't think I will be able to tempt him. He has lots of work on and says he's not coming to bed until midnight! Hopefully last nights swimmers will see me through for today. As much as I want to be pg I still feel it's early days and already there have been a few pressure 'issues' for dh. Not sure that trying tonight will help. If it's meant to be this month then so be it but if not, I'm still ok waiting.

Interesting you say that ov will be after the ewcm. All the info online is so confusing! I just assumed that my one day of it indicated it must be that day.

Do we ovulate from alternate ovaries? My pain has been on the right for both cycles?

lucy don't be scared...Ive got everything crossed for you hun! I feel really optimistic this month. Feel like I've got my head around ov/dates etc this month - although this is still only cycle 2 so I'm no pro thats for sure! But everything I'm reading should be happening, is happening. My only question is...I'm cd 12 today with a positive opk both yesterday and today, and right hand side stitch type pain today...so if this is ov, is this not a bit early? I assumed I'd ov around cd 15 ish?

It's really confusing isn't it honey, so much information but all different. I wonder if I ov late in the month particularly during a 32 day cycle - I've read that some women have a LP of only 10 days. Argh I don't know

thats a good attitude to have honey, wish i was a bit more like that! I suppose for all of us it'll happen when it happens, when its right.
Regarding ovulation.. I think its just the dominant ovary that'll release. That can be the same side a few cycles.. dont think its anything to worry about.

Bexboo I think that ov can still happen a bit earlier in a cycle - some as early as cd8/9

lara no doubt a few cycles in I will be stressing! I want to try and stay as calm as I can though. I've found these forums really help because I'm more focused on what's happening with everything else than with me!

kitty it is very confusing indeed! I think 10 day lp is still enough though? From my understanding!

I can just imagine you all going out to buy veno's now lol! Surely cough mixture should relieve mucous and not encourage it??! How odd. I wonder who worked out that veno's lead to an 'ocean' of ewcm lol!!

Yep kitty, no af for over 60 days now. It's cycle 1 off the pill though so just settling down. Slowly. I didn't realise people came off the pill months before they wanted to conceive to give their cycles time to sort out until I started reading on here. Makes sense though.

I might have to join the rush on the venos too. I would laugh if I got to the shop and they were sold out and I would just know it was you lot buying them up Grin

Sleeping please accept (at your own request) a metaphorical slap and a non metaphorical Cake! it is all consuming isn't it? It's happened b4 it will happen again.... Rainbows are real!

AFM after excitement of possible implantation drop in temp which then went back up it dropped again this morning. So am guessing I am probably out this month..... But AF ain't sung yet so you never know. If she arrives over the weekend I have a date with a big glass of Baileys!

That was suppose to be I only knew to give my body a break from the pill as a few friends have recently had babies duchess I'm sure it will sort out soon enough, can take a good few months to correct. I came off the pill in June and started ttc properly this month (last month was sketchy)
Well I reckon between us we'll clear the cough medicine aisles across the county teehee

The duchesse my first two cycles post pill were normal, the two after that were long, af was one week late and the next month 2 weeks late, I think bc affects us in many ways, I've read on another thread that some one has had a bfp even though they haven't had af post pill yet. The body works in mysterious ways. X x x

I know how stupid I am, but I just tested, OV+9, and I think, I think, there might be a line... I know it's early, but could it really be one? I wasn't really expecting to see it... It's even more of a shadow than a line... Oh...

It was an IC. Maybe it's an evap line... It's very faint... That sounds like a good and sensible idea. It's too soon! To bed... Thank you : )

Hi Ladies,

Quick update, was distracted by BFF's coming round (and yes - they took one look at my grinning face and guessed)

Details are a bit sparse tbh but here you go ;

Started taking the Venos* on CD8 10mls morning and evening.

DTD CD8 (PM), CD11(AM), CD12(PM), CD13(PM), CD15(AM), CD17(AM), CD23(PM), CD27, CD30.

Pretty sure I O'd between CD17 and CD18.

Had absolutely zero symptoms until a couple of days ago, 14dpo, when I took against violently against pesto Hmm and I noticed 11dpo that I had a lot of what looked like EWCM but not so stretchy. Which then increased and is still present.

15dpo I started worrying about whether to test or not and got my super-faint lines. And today, 16dpo a proper line Grin

*The Venos thing.. I read about it. Its the basic cough medicine you want. That just contains Guaifenesin, nothing else. It increases all your mucuses (eeuw) and obv then, creates lots of EWCM.

I had very little EWCM and taking the Veno's created a serious amount! It stopped on it's own after Ov and thats when I stopped taking the Venos. But I went from scant EWCM to considering panty liners!

If you use it make sure it's the "Expectorant" kind for Chesty coughs. It only contains guaifenesin, treacle and liquid glucose. Any medicines that dry up mucus are bad. You want the kind that just liquifies stuff so you can cough it up, basically. (gross).

So that's the run down!

Finally got my AF after a 68day cycle (less then last time, 79).

Quick question... BBT? I know by mouth you need to do it the moment you wake up but if you do it the other end, does it have to be so urgently?
Anyone do it that way? I hate it, I find it so uncomfortable. It's like a phobia. I got DP to help me with it. That's love for you, eh! Confused

I have just been reading and apparently you can take your temp vaginally which I would much prefer to do than up my behind. I was distraught. Luckily I have thermometers!! Lol
