I'm confused about when 1dpo is. Is it the day of ovulation or is it the day after?? Thanks.

Day after

1 day post ovulation. The day after you ovulated.

VJONES1985 · 12/10/2013 16:52

Yeah, thought so. I know that seems obvious but I've seen it used in different ways. Thanks :-)

So, I got +opk on Tuesday morning and evening (I don't temp). On Weds, it was quite dark but fainter than Tues so I'm assuming I ov'd on Weds and am now 3dpo?

Also not to be confused with the day after you get a positive opk. Ov usually happens 1-2 days after that, and then it's the day after that.

blamber Think we cross posted, there :)

You ov'd either Wednesday or Thursday, if you don't temp you can't be sure. It's on average 32 hours after the lh peak, so it's probably between Wednesday afternoon and Thursday morning, so you'd be 2-3 days dpo.

We did again Smile

VJONES1985 · 12/10/2013 17:00

Yeah, Thursday's opk was completely negative, not a sausage.

Yes but it depends whether the lh peak was on Tuesday morning or evening, and then how long ovulation took after that. But just assume your 3 dpo as there is no way of knowing for sure.

VJONES1985 · 12/10/2013 17:06

Ah, I see. Thank you.

Also, is it normal to be having loads of clear cm on 3dpo? I can't remember what a 'normal' cm cycle is like so want to find out if this is to be expected?!

I'm sure that's fine.
