I just want to know what other people's opinions on this are.
I miscarried at 9 weeks in January. Have a dd who I conceived first time, and I conceived the miscarried baby first time too.
However, since the miscarriage we have not had any joy conceiving.
I am 35. I had decided last month that there was maybe a fertility issue, so was waiting for 6 months of ttc to pass before going to the doctor. However this month I got pregnant very briefly and now 2/3 days later it is going, (what they term a chemical pregnancy, apparently).
Does this mean there may still be a fertility issue for one of us? Should I let the doctor know about this to put it on the radar or not? I am worried that it might encourage the doctor to be dismissive of me and say there is obviously not a problem with either of us if we have managed to get a sperm to meet an egg (even for a very brief time)?
On the other hand, maybe it reinforces the argument that there is an issue - maybe my eggs are getting too old - so maybe he should know?
Does this make sense?? Sorry if it is a bit garbled.
