Is it a line or am I getting my hopes up?

Been TTC#2 for 11 months and have had some acupuncture for the last couple of weeks to try and help. Don't think it will to anything, but have got to the point where I will try almost anything.

I am 14 DPO today and so stupidly decided to POAS. Now I can't make up my mind whether or no there is a really faint line, or that, yet again, it is a BFN.

Have been having pre-menstrual symptoms the last five days or so- more spots, terribly irritable and once I've lost my temper I get terribly contrite and sad that I got angry in the first place. Felt a bit nauseous yesterday- but could easily put that down to work anxieties.

With my previous two pregnancies had quite sore boobs form early on but have none of that.

So MN jury, what do your reckon? Could there be the faintest of faint lines (pic on profile- but we warned, the quality is terrible and looking at it on the computer I can't see a thing) or am I getting my hopes up. Again.

Thank you all. Personally, I'm still not convinced- been to Boots and bought a selection of tests to pee on- digital, first response, boots own, etc etc. So guess what I'll be doing the next couple of mornings.

Was thinking I might get DH to pee on one of the two Boots ones in solidarity and to act as a negative control. Still don't want to get my hopes up too much though- I don't deal well with disappointment.

However, just had a look at the test again and it does look darker now but it's way after the ten minute mark.

Must stop thinking about this and try and do some work!

The control window is the negative control ginpig you don't need hubby to do one as well. The digi will tell you either way, do it tomorrow and put yourself out of your misery

Well, being the impatient sort, I caved and POA first response S. well, it did say on the packet that you could do it any time of day and comparing the reeposne rates between that and the cheapo Sainsbo's test I used this morning it looked like it might give a clearer answer.

And.......

BFP (of course I have included pic on profile for you perusal)

I only have thee cat here to share the news with and they're spectacularly unimpressed. I, on the other hand, am bouncing off the walls- so v v happy.

Have texted a picture of the test to DH- it will be a while before he looks at it though knowing him.

Now just have to get through the next couple of months of crippling pregnancy anxiety until we're out of the first trimester- whilst not telling the whole world that I am officially up duffed.

Woo Hoo!!!!!

Oh excellent - I'm so happy for you (and jealous of course) :)

Hope your pregnancy runs smoothly xx

CONGRATULATIONS!

My first BFP was such a faint line it was almost invisible. DH agreed that he couldn't see anything so we chucked it in bin. He said wait a week. Yeah right!?! I retested next day and got a BFP :)
