Baking that's brilliant news! So good to hear. Have a fabulous Christmas.

LunaGL · 18/12/2013 17:21

Baking that is absolutely fantastic news - I am SO SO happy for you and a fantastic Christmas present indeed Xmas Smile.

Team you have three great chances there so fingers crossed everything does what it should.

Me? Well urine is all clear still but still have some dark red showing on toilet paper when I wipe (again apologies for TMI). In no pain but my stomach has had a bizarre muscle twitch all day, a bit like a tick so not sure what that is. Following advice from Louise, I stopped the aspirin and upped the Cyclogest to two a day morning and night. Village you are correct regarding the lack of clots but I wonder if it's not the Cyclogest and other meds that are preventing a full mc if it's happening - the not knowing either way is awful but don't have any other option. Am just waiting for Tuesday and trying to prepare myself for the worst.

VillageMum · 18/12/2013 19:01

Wow Baking, that is such wonderful news! Just couldn't be better! Hope you can relax a tiny bit over Christmas with this behind you Smile

Team, seriously, it sounds as if your chances of conceiving in this cycle are excellent with three follies... I'm supposed to test Sunday, am trying not to think about it!

VillageMum · 18/12/2013 19:05

Luna sorry, just saw your post - I'm thinking of you so much. The only thing you can do now is wait, which is so terribly hard. We are all here for you if you need company or just some TLC xx

LunaGL · 18/12/2013 20:57

Thanks Village - just so you know when I did the test after 10 days it was negative. Two days later I got the positive so would recommend testing on Sunday and again on Tuesday

MrsPixieMoo · 18/12/2013 21:05

Hello Village, good luck with your 2ww. I've read some of Free's articles too, and especially liked the Times one recently. So good that she is getting this 'out there'.

Luna I am thinking of you. Thanks for letting us know how you are getting on. At least if there is a plan to follow from Louise, there is hope, although I can totally understand you not wanting to be hopeful, if that makes sense.

Congratulations Baking, a fabulous Christmas present.

teamdozie · 19/12/2013 08:16

Luna your situation sounds exactly the same as I went through last time! (May I say the bleeding didn't cause the mc)! Try and relax as hard as it is! Baby needs you calm!

3 follies is good but I'm worried about my lining! But that's irrelevant considering your worries! I'm sure Christmas Eve you'll get the best present!

Village keeping everything crossed for you! I'm starting g my steroids today so I suppose it's ten days as from today? And 12 would be New Year's Eve! Let's hope it's a great present for you too this christmas!

Going for intralipids today! To kick start everything! Xx

brownstag · 19/12/2013 09:52

Hang in there, Luna. I did have bleeding twice (at 8 weeks and 26 weeks) with my DS and everything was fine.
What is your lining, Team? The last time I conceived mine was 6.57; I thought that was way too thin, it was thinnest it had ever been, but I conceived anyway and the miscarriage was nothing to do with that as it was chromosomal. I googled linings at the time and it seems even (very occasionally) a successful pregnancy can occur at 5. something.
Good luck with the 2ww, Village; I'm with you there. Because of my weird cycle again I don't even know when I ovulated because my fertility signs didn't match up: Fertility Friend says according to my temperature I ovulated before I got a positive OPK!
And brilliant news, Baking!

teamdozie · 19/12/2013 11:13

Hi Brown I have no idea! He didn't say and I didn't really ask! I'm at newlife this evening so I could ask them there!

Xx

brownstag · 19/12/2013 12:54

Faint line on a test ... gulp!

Bakingtins · 19/12/2013 13:47

Congratulations brownstag ! I'm sure you have very mixed emotions but we will cross everything that this is a successful pregnancy.

LunaGL · 19/12/2013 14:29

First hurdle over Brown - gulp indeed but slowly does it. I'm breathing in for 4 and out for 4 which helps when I start to think to much. Positive thoughts heading your way from me Smile

teamdozie · 19/12/2013 16:24

Brown a cautious congratulations! So pleased for you!!

Xx

brownstag · 19/12/2013 17:58

Thank you all, but actually I think I need to be sectioned at once, as the lines are no longer there! Probably a case of line-eye, or OTD (obsessive testing disorder) again.
Well, there's always tomorrow ...

VillageMum · 19/12/2013 19:24

Thanks Luna for the testing tip. I've never tested at 10dpo before, seems way too early - in the past I always thought testing at 12dpo was pushing it. So will definitely repeat to be sure. How are you doing today? Am thinking of you x

Team, yes, it's 10 days of pred starting on the day of ovulation. Then test on the 11th day (10 days after ovulation) and continue pred if test is positive, stop if not - but retest two days later to confirm. Good luck on the steroids!

Brown, how odd - but check again tomorrow? What sort of test are you using?

Ari, if you're reading, just to say you were right about the effects of pred on eczema - my scabrous arm seems to have been zapped as if by magic!

By the way, as far as lining thicknesses are concerned: I always wonder how, given that the fallopian tube must have almost no lining to speak of, ectopic pregnancies still manage to implant!

Waves to everyone.

Arianrhod · 19/12/2013 21:34

Yep village, I always read but don't often chip in as I've nothing much to say right now unfortunately. There has to be some benefit to taking Pred, glad your eczema has gone. Wish mine would!

brown Crossing everything that successive testing proves you're not completely bonkers ... yet. ;)

brownstag · 20/12/2013 09:16

Hold off with the straight jacket! Two more faint lines this morning! Just developing a couple more as I write ... These are the NHS 10miu ones btw. Better get some pred down my neck.

LunaGL · 20/12/2013 09:28

YAY great news Brown Grin

brownstag · 20/12/2013 09:30

Thank you. I suppose I'd better go and invest in a First Response. I always seem to need to buy them when I'm absolutely skint.
How are you, Luna?

teamdozie · 20/12/2013 09:36

Brown congrats! I always get the clearblue digital ones how about one of those? I'm so pleased for you!

Thanks Village I did know that it's defo on ovulation but I didn't use a monitor this month Dr S told me to start on X day! So I started yesterday! Had my intralipids too! Next stop hopefully a BFP and an IVIG!
How are you Luna?

Xx

LunaGL · 20/12/2013 10:46

Seems lots of positive energy is coming out of these threads - long may it last.

I'm doing OK - appreciate the support SO much Thanks. Still bleeding unfortunately but have been trying to stay calm and relaxed Hmm positive. The weird spasms have stopped and am not in any pain but I did see fresh blood yesterday evening but that too has stopped. not sure if its the progesterone doing its thing but I caved and did another Clearblue test this morning and it said 2-3 weeks which is correct as cycle wise I'm 5. Four days to get through until I'll know what happening so will just keep going until then

Waves to you all xx

brownstag · 20/12/2013 11:21

Thanks Team. First Response says yes! This really isn't bad going for an old bird. 3 pregnancies in 9 months, whereas before DHEA none in 2.5 years.
I was due to have a phone consultation this evening with Penny at Serum. She says I should talk to Mr S about clexane because she said that the fact that my periods have been heavier on l-arginine means there must be a blood flow problem.

brownstag · 20/12/2013 12:29

That's very good news about the bleeding stopping and about the test, Luna. xx

teamdozie · 20/12/2013 13:13

Luna that's good news! Keep positive!

Brown good advice about that as it doesn't harm either you or the baby!

God I'm feeling much christmasier with all this positive news!

X

VillageMum · 20/12/2013 16:36

Brown that's brilliant!! Yay! Start necking that pred!

Luna that's an encouraging Clearblue result! I've sent you a PM x

Team Mr S would have calculated your ovulation day from the time of the Ovitrelle trigger shot so am sure it would have been fine. Good luck in the 2WW, may it end in a BFP (and those sextuplets! Smile)

Hi Ari, I'm feeling strangely well on the pred all round, don't have insomnia but the opposite - fabulous drowsiness. Bizarre. Hope things are ok with you and your DD.

MrsPixie hope you're doing well too.

Waves to everyone.
