hi everyone, my husband and I were delighted we'd conceived baby #3 3 months after having my mirena removed. Unfortunately I miscarried at around 6 weeks, my bleeding started on 6th July and ended on 15th July, my hcg levels never got above 143 so they left my system pretty quick, by the 18th I was having bfn at the drs. I wondered when should I expect my AF? before the mc I was always 28 days bang on! I have had no symptoms for AF, although I have had really bad heartburn for 4 days, this was my first symptom last time too, so could I be pregnant? I'm useless at working out dates and cycles and ovulation etc..... we bd'd on 15th July and have been pretty consistently b'ding every other night since then with the exception of a couple of days. when should a test show bfp given all these dates? thanks for taking the time to read, hope someone has some advice for me x

I POAS yesterday and got a BFN to MrsA Sad I am CD36 following my EPRC so a bit of a vain hope

cheesysmile · 17/10/2013 20:11

Sorry abt the bfns ladies, but don't give up. Not over til AF shows up! Lots of luck ...

cheesysmile · 17/10/2013 20:12

How you doing greeneone, everything still going well this time round?

MrsAnderson22 · 17/10/2013 20:44

well it turns out I peed on a first response one step test which is apparently not as sensitive as frer??! soooo DH went out tonight to get food and popped into boots for a frer. I peed on that one too! neurotic!!! anyway, I could only see one line, put it in the kitchen and left it for about 15 mins, went to bin it and did the 'one last look' and saw a very very very faint pink line (not evap)! now I'm thinking- it's not accurate because it was after the 3 mins, or was it there within the alloted time and I just didn't see it?! so if AF doesn't come by saturday maybe I might do my other first response one step and pray my hcg levels are high enough to be confirmed on that one.

still 90% sure AF is going to show as I'm cramping.....10% of me feels like I have pg boobs and not AF boobs!

Fingers crossed MrsA x

cheesysmile · 17/10/2013 21:22

Ahhhh MrsA get a sensitive test, superdrug are good and a lot cheaper and do with fmu. Let us know how you get on ... fingers crossed for you Smile

HollyBen · 18/10/2013 10:54

I am getting so fed up waiting on first AF. I have had 'that' feeling that she is about to appear for 2 weeks now. Boobs are starting to feel a bit tender but my nipples are so sensitive. Every time anything brushes them I almost hit the roof-sorry tmi! Also suffering a bit of nausea, headaches and peeing every 5 minutes (perhaps a slight exaggeration). I just want to get back to TTC. I am finding it harder and harder to see my friend who is a month ahead of where I would be. Bit fed up and emotional today Sad

Enough of my whinging, how is everyone doing?

MrsAnderson22 · 18/10/2013 16:54

still no sign of AF, heartburn today and loads of discharge!!! I don't normally have this much even when I'm about to ovulate!

xx

OP posts:
MrsAnderson22 · 18/10/2013 18:44

Couldn't wait for fmu, there's a definite faint faint line again!! and within the allotted time too!! waaaah! I don't think I'll be 100% til I see a nice strong line ;) but a faint one will do for now! Wink

HollyBen · 18/10/2013 19:03

Woo hoo Mrs A! Congratulations x

MrsRV · 18/10/2013 19:23

That faint line is where it all begins Grin

I've never been sure until I've seen the words on a digi. Get one get one get one. Time for the big guns!!!!

So so so very happy for you Mrs A... I feel like we've been through this together!!! xx

duvetheaven · 18/10/2013 22:43

Mrs A - sounds promising , sounds like a BFP to me : ). Congrats !

MrsAnderson22 · 19/10/2013 22:15

well I'm peeing on a digi in the morning! :D still no AF so pretty convinced BUT I am worried that my burning shoulder pain is back :/ also is it normal to have 2 very very faint lines one day after another or would you expect it to be darker the 2nd day? sorry If I'm sounding a bit paranoid but I am! Blush

HollyBen · 20/10/2013 09:20

Fingers crossed for this morning! I am no expert but I don't think you would necessarily expect darker a much darker line after a day.

After what you have been through I don't think anyone can blame you for being paranoid. I do think you should see the doctors about your shoulder pain - hopefully they can put your mind at rest on that from.

xx

MrsAnderson22 · 20/10/2013 11:10

I got my positive on the digi!!!! with 1-2 weeks in the window, so gp will apparently put me down as 3-4, ahh I hope everything advances this time, I never did get past that 1-2 last time!

how's everyone doing? have we got any 2ww's? Xx

Yay!!!!! Good old trusty digi.

Remember my mantra - conception within 6 months of MC = less likely to encounter problems. And repeat.

I'm so excited and nervous at the same time! its so scary Grin

taking one day at a time, dread going to the toilet every day incase I see blood! hope this feeling goes when I've had time to speak to a dr. This time we aren't telling anyone until we are 100% that it's all good. It's only you lot and DH who know xx

OP posts:
cheesysmile · 20/10/2013 18:39

Ah MrsA yep totally know that feeling. I'm 7+1 today and starting to calm down a bit with all the worry, although had tummy ache last night and was so nervous going to the loo. Ive always had a bit of a dodgy tum though so can't expect not to now just coz preggers, but still was feeling pretty worried. FX for all of us this time round.

I'm on the June ante-natal thread if you fancy joining.

MrsAnderson22 · 20/10/2013 19:14

cheesy I have no idea where to find ante natal threads etc I literally joined this site to ask a question, no idea how/where to find June threads. any pointers ;) xx

So thrilled for you Mrs A. I had to read your original post to remind me of your history and then I remembered those awful few days you had in hospital, but now look at you. Great news.

HollyBen · 20/10/2013 20:15

Brilliant news MrsA!! So pleased for you x

greeneone12 · 20/10/2013 21:05

MrsA!!!!!!! YAY!!!!! I have had a crappy few days and your post has really made me smile. Wooohoooo!! :)

Really excited for you! Still holding on our end but very tempted to go for a private scan at 8 weeks as I just can't take the anxiety of waiting :(

Leons how are you getting on? Hollyben hope you don't have to wait too much longer for AF. It's so frustrating. Rant and moan away - that's what the thread is here for.

cheesysmile · 21/10/2013 08:11

MrsA if you look under pregnancy then ante-natal clubs then look for June 2014! Booking in, come join the fun .... then you should find it. Its a thread for ladies due in June next yr but also a couple 1st July and 31st May iykwim.

Greeneone glad you're still doing ok ... you should pop into June thread as well, everyone is really nice.

I still plan on checking in here to see how everyone is getting on but don't want to be annoying with my pregnancy worries when people here are ttc.
