Hi

Went for my first appoinment last week and we went through what i ate etc.

Been told not to eat too much dairy (cheese, ice creams) Which i can easly give up but the thing that worries me the most is she has told me to avoid cirtrus fruits as it produces more mucas but lots of people on her drink grapefruit juice daily to help this.

What should i belive? Have been taking EPO to help but should i stop now???

More mucous is a good thing IMHO?

Natty,

My acupuncturist gave me some nutritional advice, but it was specifically related to my pulse that was out of balance (spleen). Did yours give you any reason behind the things she told you?

There's a very good book called "The Infertility Cure" which my acu refers to - you can buy it at Amazon, and it gives lots of information on this kind of thing.

Hugs,
Artoo.

She gave me lots of food advice, like try and eat organic meat if i can afford it, eat plenty of fruit and veg, wholemeal bread.
No bananas?? Or not daily as i was having them.

She did a few things to clense my blood - not sure what that was about.!

Didn't ask me about alcohol or smoking, (i do not smoke but do sometimes drink far too much at weekends)

Anyway thanks for all you opinions, think i am going to try and follow what she says as much as i can for say 8 weeks and see if anything changes.

Hi, I was jsut going to say, if you are going to an acupuncturist you might as well take on board all of their advice - else no point in paying for holistic therapy. I had some success with acupunture in addressing a digestive complaint - took a few sessions to feel the benefits though.
