Hi Ladies, haven't been here since 29th Aug. Still want #3, but #1 and #2 keep us quite busy, but not as busy in the bedroom.
Nutcracker and Handsfull, I am so sorry for your losses, exactly the same thing happened to me with a little one that would have been between my two sons. I found out that they had gone at the 12 week scan and they think he/she was 10 weeks and 2 days old, it was a missed miscarriage but I had an instinct all wasn't right as the symtoms of pregnancy disappeared all at once a week before the scan. Be kind to yourselves, it took me by surprise how devastating that loss is and I still grieve for that little one now, and wonder what they're doing, watching over us.
On the period thing, my hormones were really messy afterwards and it took 3 months for my cycle to normalise, I had breakthrough bleeding, and the cervix must be a bit open afterwards as there was a spot of blood each time I ovulated, but the womb lining wasn't up to the job. It's worth diarising the dates so you can get a handle on the cycle as it normalises. The good news is that following the first normal period, I was pregnant, and that resulted in #2 who was a healthy, bouncing 2 week overdue 10lb'er, so the waiting is horrible as you've just suffered the worst loss, but I can tell you that it will settle down, and you're normal cycle will push through.
I am so sorry for your losses, and all I can imagine is both those perfect souls were too good for this world. That was what I thought of my little one.
We've only DTD once this month on CD10 but my cycles are 25-6 days long and both DS1 & DS2 were conceived early on. I've still got 9 days to AF, but raised an eyebrow when having my waxing as it only hurt on the right side. And I've been getting some period pains on that side too. Though it could be just my imagination that is fertile.
Congrats to Gru too, and let others take the Brie
