Anyone care to join me for this interminable length of waiting time?! I'm only 1 dpo! Brew

Hi Comountaingirl welcome to the thread. x
I went in to my 2ww wait on Satarday. I'm due to test 28th Sept if the witch doesn't show up. xx

Nobloomingideapgornot · 17/09/2013 10:14

Thanks gnomie....my husband is still trying to get his head round why we don't now yet etc lol!!
Good luck to us both, keep strong!
Still feeling mehh, boobs hurt, painful back, bloated...or maybe that's the home made banana and syrup cake I just had lol! Xx

Nobloomingideapgornot · 17/09/2013 10:16

Nobloomingideapgornot · 18/09/2013 12:43

How's everyone doing? So no bfp despite my earlier hope, another several bfns!

Still feeling nauseous at times, bloated, no AF, constipated, have popped on a couple of pounds, loads of windy pops, small appetite.

I'm losing hope......

COmountaingirl · 18/09/2013 14:01

Bummer about another bfn, noblooming, but still just could take time for result, especially if you're not sure of ov date, right? So unfair to feel those symptoms but not see a BFP!

This waiting is already driving me batty and it's only my first cycle. Went and bought a first response to poas tomorrow, so I'm definitely caving in and testing early (AF due Sunday). Much respect to anybody who can wait till 14+dpo -I clearly lack the willpower! Now must summon powers of concentration to actually get some work done!

xx

GnomieGrace · 18/09/2013 16:37

So last night I dreamt I got a BFP! Can't I get a respite from the symptom spotting even in my sleep!! Am definately going crazy now! Sorry for the BFN's ladies and hang on in there, I an determined to make it to the weekend! X

GladitsnotJustMe · 19/09/2013 14:26

Do you mind if I join you? I need someone to talk some sense into me and stop me from POAS too early!

I'm currently 10 DPO. Boobs ma-hoosive and very sore, but they usually get sore at this time in my cycle every month... been trying to convince myself they're more sore than usual but that's difficult to say.

I'm also feeling nauseous and have reflux - yesterday and today. Again, might just be imagining it, but definitely felt like I was going to throw up today.

So, would I be stupid to just POAS - I'd only be setting myself up for disappointment, right? .....

Karmalaa · 19/09/2013 15:54

hello everyone! I'm 4dpo, I think, (there has been a lot of debate between myself and fertility friend on that one as first we thought ov'd CD16 then we decided it was CD18) it's my first cycle so was just trying to dtd a lot to hit the right day! Not sure we did. Already reading up on what early symptoms I might get so will, for sure, be spotting them like mad in the next 2 weeks!

wispaxmas · 19/09/2013 17:52

Hi both!

glad, I think I read that sore boobs are caused by progesterone, which would make them a symptom of the LP whether or not you get pg that cycle.

I also don't understand why it's so wrong to POAS at 10dpo! If there's any chance of an ultra sensitive test being right, wouldn't you want to take that chance of shortening the waiting game? A BFN wouldn't be any worse than another day on the 2ww. But I just gave this shpeal over on the september bus thread, so now am just going overkill on it.

I'm testing tomorrow morning at 9dpo, I don't care if the chances are slim-to-none of an accurate result. Any chance is good by me.

GladitsnotJustMe · 19/09/2013 18:06

I've never POAS before, so I suppose that in doing so I'd be getting my hopes up for the first time.

The longer I TTC I suppose it just becomes the norm and I'd be fine about POAS and getting a BFN.

I agree that it would be better to know early if BFP, but surely if I POAS at 10DPO and get a BFN I'll just not believe it and want to test again the next day, and the next.... so I'll just waste money and build my hopes up!

GladitsnotJustMe · 19/09/2013 18:06

Might cave in and do it on Saturday (12DPO) if the evil witch hasn't showed up by then

wispaxmas · 19/09/2013 21:06

I'm planning to test every day from tomorrow. The Internet cheapie tests mean it's so not expensive.

GnomieGrace · 19/09/2013 21:14

Welcome Karma an Glad, my AF is due tmw on a 28 day cycle but mine have been a bit all over the place DH thinks I should wait a few more days and see if AF actually arrives late first. Can see his logic but he isn't the one with all the hormones! Anyway good luck to those testing tmw!

GnomieGrace · 20/09/2013 06:49

Well I had a couple of stomach cramps overnight. Could be the prelude to AF but also I had some very bad news yesterday. My mum has breast cancer again, she only got the all clear in May. So din't know if it a stress reaction to that. Stress isn't good for TTC could do with some good news right now! Confused

GladitsnotJustMe · 20/09/2013 08:16

I'm so sorry Gnomie, hope you and your family are ok and fingers crossed for your BFP Thanks

GnomieGrace · 20/09/2013 08:53

Thank-you Glad!

Karmalaa · 20/09/2013 11:04

still not sure if I'm 5dpo or 7dpo but what I do know is that I feel terrible today! To go with my sore bbs (since ov) I woke up with a horrid sore throat and bunged up nose, feeling so sleepy and lightheaded too! I know its because, after a hard week at work, I'm ready for the weekend but the 2WW has me obsessing. Maybe if I'm wiped out with a cold for a few days the wait will go quicker?

Nobloomingideapgornot · 20/09/2013 19:10

Well I'm out, finally AF made an appearance today and immediately I feel better, all symptoms have subsided, without tmi it does look different so I guess it may have been a chemical pregnacy hence the severe symptoms. I did appear to pass a suspicious looking thing first..oh well!

Thanks for your support guys and good luck to all xx

wispaxmas · 20/09/2013 21:13

Sorry to hear it, noblooming.

I bought a FRER test today after thinking I could see a shadow on an Internet cheapie. Will report back in the morning!

GnomieGrace · 21/09/2013 09:43

Sorry Noblooming, good luck today Wispa! I just POAS and a BFN. So just waiting for AF to arrive now, going shopping now in an attempt to cheer myself up!

VJONES1985 · 21/09/2013 09:49

Just checking in! I had some cramps on 6 dpo but am now 8 dpo. Hate the wait!!

GladitsnotJustMe · 21/09/2013 11:02

Well I caved and POAS this morning - BFN. I'm 12 DPO, so not out yet, but already feeling less symptoms so they were probably all in my head!

Didn't stop me checking it every 10 mins for about an hour in case it magically changed though!

wispa you were right, POAS early wasn't as bad as I thought and just put my mind at rest. I actually feel better seeing a BFN than obsessing over it all day, so now I'll just relax and see if AF shows up in the next few days.

Good luck everyone else xx

bronya · 21/09/2013 11:04

cramping and feeling sick a week after ovulation. Hmm!

Liquidambar · 21/09/2013 16:16

Hi ladies. Can I join you? I'm only 1dpo and already impatient. I'm not sure how I'm going to survive the 2ww. Also I'm determined not to poas before AF. last month I got my hopes up with a couple of evaporation lines. Have a great day

GladitsnotJustMe · 22/09/2013 12:24

Game over for me this month, AF got me blaaargh.. better luck next month!
