I'm not sure when to test!!!! Patch withdrawal started 1st aug BUT it was a breakthrough bleed and I just took it off to ttc and carried on with AF until about 7th.

What date do you think poas?!

Lucyfluff do you remember your cycle length pre-patch? Could go by that, or just test about once a week from now until BFP/AF.

I'm still oddly achy, about day 23 of ny normally 21 day cycle, but with such a short cycle it only takes me drinking a little less liquid to stall it for a day or two so I'm still in the 'am I late yet?' club...DH still encouraging me to keep my resolve, just 17ish days before I poas then, haha!

I was at work all day today,sorting out my new classroom ready for next week. And I was right about work taking my mind of ttc - I was busy all day and didn't worry about it at all :)

Glad to hear your chirpy jones. I've been sorting my classroom today too. Getting worried about disguising the waves of nausea in front of everyone though. I'll only be 7+4 when the kids come back

After two heavy days,AF seems to be calming down so hopefully tomorrow will be the final day of it and I can crack out the opks again in a few days.

Hello! I know I'm coming in late on this thread... This is our 4th month ttc and I'm now a day late... Getting BFN on a test the last couple of days though, but have had a couple of waves of nausea. I totally expect AF to pop up anytime...

I think I've gone mad as I've done another test and obviously it was bfn!!

haha Refoca the 14th!! I don't think I could wait that long... but the great thing is that if AF hasn't got you by then the bfp is just a formality!!

nunaloo... take a tip from Refoca... I don't suggest you wait out THAT long... but these early bfn's aren't telling you anything!

If no AF by next weds I think I'll be breaking by then... but trying in the mean time to get my head ready for dissapointment... as much as I'm trying to symptom spot I don't think I've got ANY!

hi everyone... hope all are well.... vjones...glad you're happy and keeping busy...remember the new fresh start , and with each try the odds get better i think personally, you can start all over again in a day or two ...yay!!! are you BTT too??? , i'm gonna start doing that next month as that'll tell you if you have actually ovulated and if the temp stay risen and doesn't go down it means pregnancy, which i think takes a lot of the heartache out of the dreaded 2WW... you'll know quicker.... MY AF DUE TOMORROW OR SAT .... having those twinges though that tell you its on its way, couldn't get to docs today but test results not back but going tomorrow to sort out proper date for scan etc. plus if I do need other testsi need to get the forms for those as will need more blood tests around mon/tues after AF arrives....if it does...HOPE NOT!!! .....99.9% sure it will however, so i'll be joining you again on the new start VJones. tea1sugar..you preganant???... didn't realise...wow..congrats .... really happy for you.... , refoca, jessica, nulanoo, bushprincess, lucy... and hopefully i've not missed anyone else..if so sorryand of course you are included.......GOODLUCK........ keep us posted .......xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx...i'll be back within 2 days to tell you my af has turned up the old cow!!!

Today I'm trying to decide whether to do SMEP this month or whether it would be best to try the relaxes approach :/

Right so AF has left the building! Ready for some action now! DH doesn't want us to "try too hard" so am not BTT or using OPK's if the good old shag till you drop route doesn't work in 6-9 months I'll move onto some more formal tracking but for now just gonna shag shag shag so pass the Stevie Wonder CD and the razor, gonna make myself gorgeous to tempt DH into some old fashioned rumpy pumpy, see you on the other side of the week! I'll be lurking so don't forget about me I want to see all those BFP's, even if for some it's just a formality ;-) good luck fingers crossed!

Layla - I am yeh still early days in 6+1 but I started this thread a few months back so like to pop in and see how everyones doing. Have you thought about using preseed? Rave reviews, I used it and sure it helped get our bfp on the second cycle.

.Vjonesy, i'm a dental Hygienist/Dental Therapist... basically i'm a childrens dentist , although i can do fills on adults too its mainly children i treat , taking their teeth out, filling them , pulpotomies (like root canal) etc, also All the hygienist work for the practice, cleaning teeth, gum/periodontal treatment and teeth whitening etc etc . I am self employed so work all over.. usually start early though !!..... VJones...what is SMEP???? am i'm missing something here?? ..
have you tried the website fertility friend? they make up special charts for you each month and find patterns etc to see EXACTLY how your body works its brilliant..it even gives you points on symptoms compared to all the pregnancy charts they have ...well worth a look..... chat rooms are not like this...i prefer this to speak to lovely ladies like you all but use their charting system its amazing!!...check it out.....
good luck Gnomiegrace...when you relax more and dont put pressure on yourself thats when it tends to happen the BFP.. you hear stories like that all the time dont you.." we were trying for years nothing happened it was so stressful so we gave up then wham bam 2 months later i was pregnant and we'd forgot about all the trying at special times it just happened naturally and so quickly!!"..... its true though eh, it happens that way a lot when you relax a bit .wish you the best of luck.... happy shagging!!..
.Tea1Sugar ...really pleased for you matey|!! thats great news... is it your first?? or are you lucky and have a whole tribe already??? ... that preseed i have heard of everywhere, everyone saying how good it is... i tried last month for the first time some fertility spray thats meant to mimic EWCM as i never find any of it around OV time on me/in me, is it like that??? or does it have added special qualities like nutrients or anything ???
i've still got some of this fertility spray left probably enough for 3 more rounds , so i would like to try preseed when its finished or before if its something different... where do i buy it cause i have looked and cant find it in boots or anywhere like that???....

docs appt went great!! ...apparently all my hormones are working perfectly and i'm definitely ovulating each month!!! well pleased... AF still not here but expecting it by sunday at the latest.... but i'm so happy with results i dont care so much!!! lol.... scan is in a week or two tops, once thats been done they are gonna refer me to put dye down my tubes to check theres no blockages... then my partner needs to get himself checked...if all that comes back ok then its private treatment ... i'll have AM reserve blood test which checks how many eggs you have left..your kinda egg reserve, if i get that far i'll have some of my eggs frozen so i can do as many rounds of IVF or IUS as poss.... found a good clinic in london but thats about 3-6 months away yet... i may get pregnant before then ??? you never know!!!... sometimes even if everything is ok theres still unexplained infertility...weird eh?! ...ELR... i recommend using fertility friend website its free and it does your charting for you ... check it out but i'd do all 3 ... CM, OPK's to determine the first set of hormones and BBT, that will show you if you have ovulated ( by the rise in temp from progesterone, checking the other set of hormones) and exactly when you ovulated... i've just started to use it but i'm gonna use every month from now on.. just bought my thermometer to use from the first morning after AF arrives... check it out...its so clever ... you'll learn heaps about your own cycle and our own body as we are all so different ...it even has a symptom checker with a points system and anything from 80 points up over the cycle is you're probably pregnant!!!. ( its fun watching the points top up each day lol).. it gives you tutorials on how to use too its really easy...... BUT SO ADDICTIVE!!!!!! .....goodluck.... think we'll all be on the next round from next week ....here we go again!!! ....it's great having cycle buddies its certainly making this more fun for me.... have a great weekend everyone xxxxx

Layla SMEP is the sperm meets egg plan, which involves using opks every day from cd8. You dtd every two days until first positive opk, when you dtd for three consecutive days, skip one and dtd once more.

All I've seen today is babies/pg women and it's got me down a bit... Will try to perk up though!

VJones I was going to do the SMEP for Cycle #2.

Started out with it, then opted to just DTD within the entire fertile Window. It seemed counter-intuitive to NOT take advantage of every fertile day.

I'm sure smep works for many. Dp and I dtd 4 times from cd9-13, nothing before and nothing after until right at the end of my cycle and got a bfp. A lot of literature suggests too much sex is counterintuitive.
