The July BFP bus PART 2 - All aboard the lucky magical number 7

The first bus is almost full up so lets all transfer on to this new shiny bus!!

The sun is out, the sky is blue, the birds are singing their songs... Now lets get some BFPs!

Just ordered 20 ic's will be here in 3-5 days so if I haven't had af turn up by then I'll start testing. Got awful cramps today..

Hello ladies!
I might have got off the July bus a stop too early as AF still hasn't arrived!
I came off the pill in March and my cycles after the withdrawal bleed have been 32, 31, 27, so I expected AF to arrive sometime last weekend, but nothing & I am now on CD 37. This is the longest cycle I have EVER had.
I had to take a pregnancy test on Monday (CD 31) at the doctor's and it was negative. I have no idea if I ovulated this month or not, I used cheapie OPKs for about 10 days but I wasn't consistent and I never got a line any day I used them.

Do you think I still have a chance this month or is it just a weirdly long cycle and my body is still settling after coming off the pill?

Any thoughts would be gratefully appreciated! x

Well AF is due tomorrow and I'm pretty sure I'm out this month... After the outburst I just had with DH...definitely suffering from a bit of PMT I think!

isean have you taken another test since Monday? If not maybe you should because if you ovulated later then usual Monday might of been to early to test. good luck x

Hi CristaBell! No I haven't taken any other tests. I haven't had any symptoms as such so didn't really think there was any point (and I was trying not to obsess!)
Tempted to POAS tomorrow morning though!

Gilly - I have been pretty vile to my hubby over the last week. Moaning at him all the time, being generally grumpy with him and having mutterings under my breath, snapping at him etc. I also thought it was PMT but obviously not. Guess it was the hormones.

isean it might be a good idea to do a test because I've had no symptoms what so ever I just feel the same as always.

Well I'm gonna guess I'm out. 11dpo and my temperature just dropped. No cramps or any other signs of AF yet but I've probably got those to look forward to today. This ttc business is horrible. My body just doesn't want to do it. My school friend announced on FB that she was pregnant again and I burst into tears. First time I've done that to a pregnancy announcement so I know this try to have a baby business is really getting to me. Just wish the disappointment didn't hurt so much each month.

AF is due for me today but no sign yet. Took a test this morning and yet another bfn.

I'm 14dpo... Unless of course I ovulated a day or so later than I thought.

I'm basing when I ovulated around when I got my smiley OPKs. One on the Sunday morning and another on the Monday. All my apps say I ovulated Monday but I suppose I could've ovulated tues or wed?

We only dtd on the Monday and Tuesday so... I dunno what's going on really.

Or maybe i didn't ovulate at all. Who knows

Anyway I've packed tampax in my work bag today just in case!

Morning everyone, i didnt realise its been a week since i last posted. There's so much gone on! Ive been lurking but trying not to as much as im supposed to be a bit more relaxed about things this month.

Congrats lee and writer and all the other bfp's! And sorry to those off the bus. Its sounding promising for a few others aswell so fingers crossed!

I was doing ok this month, until my dream last night where i got a bfp, and then text a pic of it to dh. It felt very real so was rather disappointed when i woke up! Hopefully im following writer and the dream may turn out to be reality. Im somewhere in the middle of the 2ww, no symptoms at all. Not even my usual pre af sore boobs. But there's still plenty of time yet.

Am so fed up. Everyone around me is pg. I am not. And each cycle that passes means I'm not sure I want to now: my ds is 10 and I am nearly 40. Do I really want to start all over again (yes of course I do and dp really went a baby but but but...).

thank you! I'm in office and occasionally I think about and start smiling.. but I need to focus on work because I have a job interview today for a new role in my company. feeling sort of guilty that I'm applying under false pretences..
sciencegeek, I was convinced something was wrong and planning to go to the doc to demand help after this cycle.
we spent 7 cycles using opks and timing dtd on smiley days but this cycle we were like f* the smiley we are going all out.
we dtd everyday from day 10 to day 19 (except for cd13) which may have done the trick because I got my smiley 2 days later than usual. af was also 2 days late before I got bfp and it was solidly bfn before that. so I guess it really shows that it's not over until the fat aunty sings. the internet cheapies are still showing very faint lines but I am trusting the clearblue digi instead which says am 1-2 weeks. still can't believe it.

Lee your post has made me feel really hopeful (not necessarily for this month but definitely for the future!)

I have started to worry that something is wrong as we have kind of been trying since January......
although only PROPERLY trying with OPKs etc for the last 3 months (all attempts before that were pointless cos we were dtd at the totally wrong time of the month and no where near ovulation...!!! I NEED to use OPKs cos my cycles are still irregular after stopping the pill)

Im gonna just carry on with OPKs and also up our game and dtd much more from now on!!

Unless I get a bfp this month but I don't think it's my month to be honest!

gilly, I think the opks were good to tell us when we should definitely dtd (and not take a rest day) but now I wish we had just blindly dtd regularly from the start.
I also tried preseed for the first time and it was a great help in dtd so many days in a row. in earlier months after dtd 3-4 days, I would be sore and just wishing it would be over soon (which is definitely the wrong mood to dtd in).
I must give credit to dh. his friend told him how he and his wife dtd every day for a month and got bfp straight off. dh then told me and suggested we try it. bless him.

Bfn again but been having mood swings past couple days so think af might be on way since I had a month of phantom pregnancy symptoms 2 months ago I've had 3 dreams were I've had BFP and woken up trying to find the test which I put under my pillow.... Not sure why I'd do that lol. Just really -pissed off- annoyed at mo. working so much is making it a lot harder to DTD -which is my boss's plan as he knows after the phantom-
