The July BFP bus PART 2 - All aboard the lucky magical number 7

The first bus is almost full up so lets all transfer on to this new shiny bus!!

The sun is out, the sky is blue, the birds are singing their songs... Now lets get some BFPs!

Interesting maybe I should get checked out..

Came off the pill in December. Had a 31 day cycle, then 29, then 30, then 48, then 34.

Expecting my current cycle to be around 39 days based on when I ovulated.

Also had spots on the side of my neck and back since coming off the pill. Never had spots on neck or back ever before!

Looking like I'm off the bus ladies.

Gutted.

I know it's only first cycle, so I shouldn't be down about it but it's hard to not be.

Army so to hear its defo pcos but hopefully it won't cause you major problems

Purple it's maybe just poor timing or that the sperm hasn't caught the egg that you've not conceived yet, doesn't mean there's something wrong with dp's swimmers or with you though, I didn't get pregnant until 37 yrs old just down to unexplained fertility problems, nothing wrong with either of us just never happened until then

Yeah, a bit, but I will be happier if I can get past the 6 week mark (and then it will probably be the 12 week mark and so on ). No, but it will be nice when we can let ourselves get excited.

Linda. I know, it's just bloody annoying! We've been dtd at least very other day during that two week period for the last 11 months. Am just feeling v dejected about it ever happening now!

It's horrible Purple, after we had ds 1 I was like ok we can get pregnant so let's do it right away again before im 2 old and it still took a year to get pregnant again, very upsetting

I did a naughty thing and bought a load of cheap tests from the pound shop. Sooooo... I'll probably start testing tomorrow which is 10dpo

Thing is, I think I prefer it that way because every day I don't see a line will be letting me down slowly....

Unless of course there's a line and then I will be the happiest I've ever been!

The longer I go without testing.. The more I will think I am gonna get a bfp.. Don't know if that makes sense but it works for me!

Linda it is indeed, sigh. Am supposed to be chilled about it: if it happens it happens and if it doesn't no matter but I know how much dp would love to be a biological dad as well as a step dad.

EEEKKKKKKKKK I just got a BFP. Well I actually got 4!!!

I had honestly counted myself out this month, felt like I had a few symptoms after towards the middle of the month and then nothing these past few days. I kept forgetting to temp, but thought i'd probably o'd on CD11 based on O pains and EWCM. Usually have a 26 day cycle, so took a test on CD18, 20, 22, 23, and 24 which were all negative. As I thought i'd O'd pretty early on, I thought I def wasn't pregnant, so haven't POAS since Sunday. Period due today, and had on and off period pains since Sunday so thought I had literally no chance, but for some reason I thought I'd try again this afternoon (not even using FMU) forgot I'd done it and then saw a faint line on it. I've heard the evaporation line stories, so I immediately did 2 more cheapie tests and the faint line was there on them both. Hop skip and a jump down to superdrug for a digital one and it says i'm 1-2 weeks. I actually can't believe it.

Tea1Sugar - is a BFN 11dpo the cut off point then?

I.e if we don't have a BFP by that point there's no way we can be pregnant

Thanks all, I really can't believe it.
Writer - there isn't no way that you can be pregnant, but the stats on fertility friend say 80% of BFP's are shown at 11 dpo, so if you are pregnant you're likely to see it by 11dpo.
That's why I thought I was out, I thought I was 12dpo on Sunday so when I got the BFN I thought I was out. I either O'd later than I thought, or I'm one of the people who don't get a BFP's until later.

I don't think so Writer there is a chance you could still be preggers and it's just not showing yet. You shouldn't really count yourself out until AF shows up Tea!

Tea1sugar - you're mental!!! Getting a bfn at 11dpo means nothing.. Quite frankly it's too early to be testing for most people anyway!
