Oh Linda I really admire you Thanks

Having woken up at 6am with dd like I do everyyyyy day, I've already had an hour's nap. Weird. 7dpo and damn impatient now!

Writerwannabe83 · 13/07/2013 10:48

Vicky : what a difficult situation to be in. If only men could understand just how hard it can be. My husband thinks that you can pregnant at any time of the month if you have unprotected sex. I explained about the 12-24 hour window and he didn't believe me! grr!!

lindamagoo · 13/07/2013 10:50

Thank you tea Smile

Writer we decided to stop ttc and just focus on our 2 sons, getting too old and tired for the on demand dtd, lol

Writerwannabe83 · 13/07/2013 10:56

Well they say that people conceive when they stop trying. So maybe you shouldn't go on the Pill and See if nature takes its course Smile

Vikkijayne2507 · 13/07/2013 10:58

Mine is the same writer, the fact is he was a bit of a player before he met me and settled. He has a son who is sitting next yelling at the FIFA players on playstation and I am aware that before that he had in his teens two other accidents that did not result children. So his experiences are that its happens extremely easily, but i have this horrid feeling for no real reason that its going to be very hard. His son is 9 years old so its been a good 10 years since an accident has happened and Ive been on the pill ever since I met him 6 1\2 years ago.

Is it really bad I am jealous of these women who were with with him and got pregnant without even trying. Its very bad being this envious of these past women, it doesnt help the mum of his son constantly is saying how he is her life and the best accident, if you had children you would understand agggghhhhh

sorry to offload

Writerwannabe83 · 13/07/2013 11:06

That's a really, really bitchy thing of that woman to say!!! Super cow alert!! Sounds to me like you may be jealous of your her son, but she may be jealous that the dad belongs to you. If she said that to me I think I would smash her face in

My husband was also a bit of a Lothario in his day - or so he says. I stand by the myth that is those who talk about it the most are the ones who do it the least [ grin]

However, he is now 30 so it was a while ago - and I'm pretty sure I was a bot more of a goer when I was 20 too, haha.

Thankfully, now we are HAVING to have regular sex it seems to have woken up his urges somewhat. I think before we started trying to conceive we had let ourselves get into a sexless rut.

However, he also very recently found out that I have been pregnant before, many years ago, and so maybe he feels he has something to prove. Who knows what goes on inside a man's mind?!

There is absolutely nothing wrong with being envious! I think women as a whole are a very jealous species, I have been jealous of loads of other girls (I.e ex girlfriends) for a majority of reasons, and ones that are far less justified than your reasons!!

How long have you been TTC?

X x

gillywillywoo · 13/07/2013 11:18

Oh yes Linda of course I forgot that was what you had decided! All the best for the future... You never know what may happen when you least expect it but enjoy every moment with your wonderful family! X

onelittlepiglet · 13/07/2013 11:41

Temp has stayed down so think that's it for me this month. AF not due for a week but I'm very sure she will turn up on time. Will be joining the August bus next weekend.

Vikkijayne2507 · 13/07/2013 11:45

She is a super cow. We have only been trying a couple of months now so my worry isn't really justified but I am a worrier oh is usually up for dtd regularly but appears this weekend nay be doomed fir dtd I bet i will out this month. Im very negative today right that's it im off to my mates party im drinking cider and relaxing about the damn thing. Luckily none if those mates have kids

GinandStripes · 13/07/2013 16:56

Just realised I have got my dates jumbled! AF actually due on the 17th.

Got some tests today... might poas tomorrow, as I got some early ones, as well as digital ones. Might've gone overboard - boyfriend was horrified at how much money I was about to spend. All for a good cause I say!

Dumdeedumdeedum · 13/07/2013 18:59

Right help me think this through... First response tests are good from 6 days before AF correct? And that must be based on a 14 day luteal phase, right? So in fact that is 8 dpo? I'm somewhere between 8-11dpo now, so I could test with fmu tomorrow morning if my logic is right?

blueamber · 13/07/2013 20:13

Dumdee, they are sneaky in saying that it's 6 days before your missed period, which is therefore 5 days before day of AF. However, it's still so early you might get a false negative. But you can always try!

Pixie001 · 13/07/2013 22:02

Cd 29 and still no af here.

Can't remember last time my cycle was over 27 days. Hmm trying not to get hopes up. I had bereavement couple wks ago, I think stress etc can impact cycle, have others found that? so thinking maybe that's the cause?

londa hope all works out for the best for you and your family

vikki sorry you feelin down. We all get times like these. how was party? Did it help?
Gl for tomorrow gin and dumdee

LeeHandy · 13/07/2013 23:09

good luck to you Linda. Thanks

lindamagoo · 13/07/2013 23:16

Thank you Lee, better luck to you. Had a great night on the voddie but have to admit I had a wee cry earlier, it's allowed though given the circumstances eh? Hmm

Don't generally like to post "symptoms" and try not to do any symptom spotting during 2ww but I'm currently 6dpo and have a lot of twinges and a constant twingy achey feeling down below... Also have lots of very thick creamy CM some of which is like.... blobs Blush

Don't know if that means anything but thought I'd say!

OP posts:
gillywillywoo · 14/07/2013 07:27

Probably too early for any kind of symptoms to be honest!

OP posts:
Pixie001 · 14/07/2013 08:34

No af but bfn for me this morning.
Have to admit am pretty gutted as I'm never this late so had got to thinking maybe this was finally our month but pretty sure a bfp would have shown herself by now

Any other testers today?

LeeHandy · 14/07/2013 08:41

absolutely allowed, Linda! it's a tough decision you made. this is a situation made for drowning your sorrows in alcohol.
speaking of which, I discovered a delicious toffee vodka at the Hampton court fair. so sending some virtually on to you. it's dessert and alcohol rolled into one. Grin
I'm also 6dpo and no symptoms at all. unless you count a cold coming on Sad. wait, let me Google that. it may be an actual symptom

IWantOneNow · 14/07/2013 09:35

linda I'm so sorry that it wasn't ur month, we were all crossing our fingers hoping that u'd actually made a bean this time Flowers. Enjoy the vodka, a great drink to get hammered on, always works for me on those af days! I'm sorry to see u go, but I know u will have a lovely time with ur family and those great family holidays etc! Sending hugs x

AliBingo · 14/07/2013 09:49

Great to see all the BFPS! I tested this am, 10DPO except I am not sure that I actually ovulated this month. Anyway BFN :( Feeling really rugh and had diarrhoea for the last two days, had hoped it might be an early sign but now thinking I am just poorly!

Vikkijayne2507 · 14/07/2013 09:58

Thanks I had a great party got bit drunk and crashed at a mates house oh went home with his ds. Feeling better albeit with a headache

Isean · 14/07/2013 10:22

Congratulations to all the BFPs, commiserations to those who've moved to the August bus & sympathies to those still in limbo, it's so frustrating!

I've been lurking & watching while on my 2ww. Thought I was due on Friday or yesterday but so far nothing, although I have been crampy. I've had a bout of cystitis the past few days Confused so the cramps might be partly down to that. I have a feeling AF will appear today though Hmm
I used cheapie ovulation predictor strips for the first time this month, but never got a clear line. I wasn't religious about using them though so maybe missed it.

Also we didn't DTD anywhere near as much as usual due to DP being ill with a tummy bug for about 10 days. So all in all I don't think it was our month, but I couldn't help having a wee disappointed/frustrated cry about it all this morning Confused
