Hi
I'm very new to this but hoping some of you can give me some answers....
I have recently bought a clear blue fertility monitor after having had a miscarriage in April at 7 weeks (now waiting for the first day of my next cycle to start using it) My doctor has told me that it is very unlikely for me to get pregnant as I'm underweight and therefore not ovulating! This has left me distraught! I have always been the weight that I am and had 1 healthy pregnancy which gave me my beautiful boy and 1 'failed' pregnancy (miscarriage) so I know I can become pregnant! But her words keep ringing in my head! So I bought this expensive toy to not only help me conceive but to put my mind at rest! Has anyone used this monitor before? What are the pros and cons? Did u conceive using it? All help will be hugely appreciated! Thank you!

Hi
Thank u for ur reply, she won't refer me and I have had blood tests but only to check things like my iron levels (standard blood test at GP which all came back as normal) I've asked to be referred to a specialist and she said that I'm to put on weight first and asked me to do a food diary as apparently I was assuming I ate well, after I kept a diary of what I ate she agreed that I had a healthy balanced diet but said I need to eat more to gain weight! All she seems to care about is my weight so I took my mum with me as she's the same as me tiny! But still the only thing she offers is for me to see a dietitian!

Are u still using the monitor now?

Hi Hlh
On what basis did your GP decide you're not ovulating? are you still having periods? Sounds like she's talking nonsense!
Anyway, I've got a CBFM and it's fab - conceived on second month both times I've used it Grin. Fingers crossed it works the same for you!

I'm not the biggest fan if doctors surgeries that's why I wanted to try this monitor first hopefully I'll be walking into her consultation room very soon to tell her I'm pregnant!
If not I'll happily pay £190 for answers and help! Thank you! Smile

Thank you Captain calamari! My doctor only did a standard blood test, all came back normal I've done everything she's asked but she's still not helping me! So after lots of upsetting doctor appointments ive decided to give the cbfm a go! I'm pleased it worked for u!! I'm really excited about using it and hopefully it will work for me too Smile

And yes I'm having periods, only two since my miscarriage so can't judge if they're regular yet but I was regular before m/c.
