I desperately hope think that there may be a very very very faint second line.... what do you think???

I think I see the second line. Congratulations!

williwonti, the key seems to be, does the line have colour in it (blue or pink depending on the test). If so then it's a proper line, no matter how faint it is. If not then it might just be an evaporation line that's always there.

If you want to be really sure, get your DH (who is probably not pregnant) to do one test at the same time you do the other, to act as a control.

Thank you everyone who's kindly double-checked my wee sticks haha. I'm so excited, everything's crossed that this one sticks.

It's hard to say exactly when AF is due as my cycles are all over the place - according to fertilityfriend I'm cd27 and 13dpo, av cycle length 31 days.

Hmmm, I think it is just the line that was always there as if it had been anything more, I would've thought it at the time. I don't think there is any colour in it. I'll certainly be checking/hoping again though. In general, do standard tests pick it up just before AF? I'm sure with DS1 I tested the day before AF and it came up really obvious straight away. Body all over the place after MC in March though so guess could be different next time. Thanks all. Have a feeling it is an ongoing one for me.

I can see a line. But I'd be careful about being too excited yet; without wanting to be the profit of doom, wait for a couple of days and see if you get a 'proper' line. Fingers crossed for you.

Sorry to thread-hog but wanted to let you knowledgeable ladies know, you were right, faint line is a line, cheap tests are cheap and yes............it was positive. I am in disbelief!

Yay Willi, double BFP thread

Do a digital test. I was driving myself crazy squinting to see if there was a faint line on a test I did on Monday. Got a digital one (£10.50) and it confirmed that I am 4 weeks pregnant
