Oh, you poor thing, I'm not surprised you're a bit uncomfy. Don't worry about the run... Glad they've upped the dose, and its good they're being cautious as you have so many follies. There will be eggs in there! But I mentalled about it all too.

I'm feeling really good now thanks. Am loving being pregnant, esp since 12 weeks I am much more relaxed. Can't wait for you to join us.

Ooh, we move home in just over 3 weekday :) I can't wait. Am preparing by watching Wimbledon and not packing. :)

Solars · 27/06/2013 14:38

Oh Maybe you're doing really well to hang on in there, not much longer! Is it another scan tomorrow? I would say to take things easy the run can wait until after EC.

Munxx · 27/06/2013 15:24

maybe can only add more good thoughts and a big virtual squidge.

Don't forget some strawberries and fizzy non alcoholic stuff keep! Brooking for a very smooth move home. So pleased to hear that the pregnancy is going well.

NoMaybeAboutIt · 27/06/2013 16:25

You lot are the best Thanks

I went for a 10k in the end. And just back from a massive pup walk. Knackered.com

Keep you must be so excited about coming back. I'm so pleased you're feeling so well Smile

I have another scan tomorrow Solars, you are correct.

This is TMI, but I feel like every time I sit on the loo my ovaries are going to fall out Hmm

Kyoung1 · 27/06/2013 17:24

Hi ladies, first time I've been on here but really hoping someone can give me a helping hand. I know very little about ttc but my husband and i are now ready to try. So I came off the pill in may and was lucky enough to have a normal bleed approx 4wks after. Through the time inbetween I felt the ovulation pains which I am led to believe is a good sign? Anyway we are now on month 2 of ttc. This month, according to my ovulation sticks, I ovulated on sat/sun and mon. I don't know if its because previously I'm not looking for it but I was aware of cm on sat and sun, today though i am finding more, is this normal or should I be worried? I read that it can be a sign of early prey but surely not this early?

Last month I was convinced I was pregs as I had a few symptoms, feeling very tired and cant be bothered. Sore back, period like cramping nowhere near my period time. However on reading up I find that the pill is a delightful thing which can have horrid side effects after I stop taking it. Obviously the period coming along confirmed that I was intact, not preys. I'm not a patient person so does anyone have any suggestions how to not be disheartened each month when I find I've not been successful?

NoMaybeAboutIt · 27/06/2013 17:54

K! Welcome! As you TTC, you will find your body likes to play little tricks on you. I personally don't think it's any side effects from coming off the pill. A lot of symptoms one from the progesterone we produce after we ovulate. But it's great you are ovulating an have your cycle back so soon!!

As for not being disheartened, that's a tough one. But that's where we come in! It's totally natural to feel deflated but we pick up the pieces and nice on to the next cycle. A lot of us brookers have been TTC for a long time, so any questions, go ahead and fire them at us!!

Fox82 · 27/06/2013 21:13

Oooh can I join please? Seems like a very friendly thread, and lovely to read about people at different stages in their ttc journey/pregnancy x

BlindKitty · 27/06/2013 21:44

Don't fire the questions at me though, I swear info goes in one ear and out the other!!! Grin. So you're a 'symptom spotter' already?! Yup, think you'll settle in here just fine haha x

Fox tell us your story.

Hiya everyone else, all sounding so very exciting on here, how are you doing octomum Maybe Wink
Solars did I congratulate you on your scan? If not, that is fabulous news, lovely to hear about sunbeam :)

NoMaybeAboutIt · 27/06/2013 22:33

Boo you're here! I love it when you pop in. How is the gorgeous booby? My ovaries feel like they're going I explode. I think Keep may have been on to something with the ostrich egg.... Grin. If my follies haven't grown on tomorrow's scan I'm going to look pretty silly Hmm

Fox welcome lovely!! Tell us your story. We are nosey all ears Smile

Fox82 · 27/06/2013 23:06

Thanks for the welcome! And congrats on the brooking baby boo!

Well I'm ttc number 1. Stopped preventing ttc in December, just before our wedding in January. After no luck, I've been looking out for ov signs and making a note of when AF arrives for the last 3 months, and this month DH and I have ttc properly every other day before and around ov so fingers crossed! Think I'm going to test on Monday (if af hasn't arrived by then) although AF due mon, tues or wed really.

Fx for everyone ttc!!

keepitgoing · 28/06/2013 03:20

Hi k and fox! k, just be aware that the ov sticks tell you of a hormonal surge, but you may not ovulate, you may have another surge later. If you have ewcm or clear cm keep on dtd! I could never really find much cm and it was always mixed up with dh's contribution... Afraid none of us know how not to get obsessed, but I think as you've just started you need to just have lots of sex and fun, and not worry ....

fox I am Brooking No Argument that this is your month. Any symptoms? Congratulations in your wedding! Do tell the details :)

I am keep, 18 weeks pregnant after successfully brooking our way through ivf :)

Brooking for a good scan maybe!

EverythingIsTicketyBoo · 28/06/2013 09:12

Maybe she is absolutely delicious, beautiful and lovely :) I am always lurking on here for news, can't wait for the next wave of BFP's!

Brooking for your scan, arf @ ostrich egg Grin

Solars · 28/06/2013 10:00

Boo you did indeed congratulate me on t'other thread, thank you! By the way you're not going to believe this but after our scan DH went and bought me a sunflower, I wonder if he's been reading the thread??

Welcome to K & Fox I'm sorry K can't help with the not feeling disheartened every month but we're all here to hand hold and besides now that you're a brooker it won't be long until you get your BFP! Brooking for Monday Fox

Maybe how is the scan today?

Keep I can't believe you're 18 weeks, eeek!!

I went to see my gp yesterday and I can get all my meds free instead of paying £70 a week for them which is excellent!! However I have been a little worried today as last night I had a bit of blood when wiping, thankfully no pain and nothing so far this morning. I did overdo things yesterday so trying to take things easy today.

Fox82 · 28/06/2013 10:55

Well obviously have loads off symptoms probably all imaginary. Sore and swollen boobs, ovary pain, tiredness. Really tempted to test today but know there's not much point!

Wedding was wonderful - it was the weekend with lots of snow and made for some lovely photos! Cliché, but literally best day of my life. Even if some people amazingly asked on the day when we're going to have children!!

This seems like a lucky thread so getting my hopes up for a bfp!

EverythingIsTicketyBoo · 28/06/2013 11:11

Best thread ever Fox BFP's guaranteed round here :):) then there are the grads and post grads threads, once you're a brooker you never leave :)

NoMaybeAboutIt · 28/06/2013 11:25

Sounds like a beautiful day Fox! We have produced any a BFP here, you will definitely be joining the ranks soon.

Boo so pleased you're all doing so well.

Rest up today lovely Solars. That's so sweet of MrS!

Keep where on earth have the 18 weeks gone?!

Scan was all good, follies have had a growth spurt. Looking like all will be on for next Wednesday. Waiting to see if I have to up the does again, but the nurse and sonographer thought I probably wouldn't have to. I said I felt like I had small grapefruits for ovaries. The nurse said by Monday they will feel like footbals Shock. Gods news is my lining is top grade. Now we just have to brook that the sperm is ok. I'm panicking majorly. And it doesn't help that I've just had a meltdown over a sodding job that twatty MrM has applied for. But I am now lying down with a soda and lime and some crochet. I am the picture of zen not

keepitgoing · 28/06/2013 11:31

solars don't panic. Was it a, erm, rough dildo cam? Also, when I had some spotting at 7 weeks it was after over doing it.

maybe good news on the growth scan. No fretting yet about sperm, get those eggs out first. Worst case they can freeze them, there'll be so many....

k a snowy wedding! How lovely... I know, people are so rude to ask about kids at any time, esp at your wedding though!

I too can't believe 18 weeks. Still feels like a dream :)

Solars · 28/06/2013 12:30

Good news about the growth spurt Maybe Don't worry about the sperm, they will take care of themselves, you concentrate on your 40 footballs eggs! Men have a funny way of causing meltdowns at all the wrong times, ignore him for now.

Keep I never thought of the dildo cam but it was over a day ago but perhaps it could have had an effect as the dr was hunting around a bit to check whether there was more than 1 blob in there.

keepitgoing · 28/06/2013 12:58

Yep, it can take a while to, er, make its way down...

BlindKitty · 28/06/2013 16:20

solars I always bleed (tmi) even with smears so I'm bound to with a dildo cam!

Haven't you had one yet kitty?@?@

Kyoung1 · 29/06/2013 16:31

Thanks for the warm welcome ladies. So glad to hear im not the only one with questions and worries.

Ok so I get that my ovulation sticks only tell me if my lh levels are high, not that im actually ovulating but I have defo had cm. I didnt go looking for it...didnt fancy that procedure but its defo there. What id like to know is whether any of you lovely ladies have had the normal ovulation cm and the cm about 5 days later but sticks say no ovulation? Also could my constant feeling like ive pee'd myself, be another delightful side effect of coming off the pill?

EverythingIsTicketyBoo · 30/06/2013 08:59

There is news over on grads :):):)
