Well I started my stimming last night. My burselin injection really hurt, I think I must have gone into a bruised area as its never been that sore before. I've also been a bit worried as I've been having some weird sensations in my right calf since I took the injections. I had acupuncture yesterday so I think it's most likely from that.

We went out for tea with 2 other couples. We had a really nice time. I told the girls all about my treatment. We are quite close, they are both nurses and have worked in the clinic I'm having treatment at so it was really nice to talk to them about it.

How is everyone doing today? I'm off to work but I'm off tomorrow

I'm sure your leg is nothing to do with the gonal f. When I started I was literally sitting there waiting to see how it made me feel. I think you're hyper aware when you know our pumping yourself full of drugs.

I finished my pill on the 2nd June. According to my app (which I am not taking seriously) I'm due AF tomorrow but we shall see.

It's so hot again today. It's only 10.26am and I'm already melting. There is a nice breeze today which is good. Dp wants to go out on the boat again but I don't. I end up getting stuck with ds and he cried most of the time. Think ill refuse.

What's everyone's plans for today?

I wouldn't worry if AF doesn't come bang on time. I think my first cycle off the pill was 40 days, but that soon came down!

He was pretty chuffed. He was pleased on Thursday, but today was the day. It feels very surreal. He has told his mum and dad (tey are in Devon so long way away) an we are going to see my parents to tell them now!

I had AF on 29th June. So hoping this one wont be too far away.

Aw that would be a great idea but it wouldn't happen. I left ds with Dp yesterday for about 40 mins and he huffed and puffed about it for ages as ds was a bit cranky with the heat. So I very much doubt it would happen for a whole day. Although I'm thinking of going home tomorrow. I can't wait to go back home.

Kitty dont worry about it, your being good now which is plenty of preparation. My clinic advised DH to stop drinking straight away (as his SA was rubbish), for me they just said to stop drinking, cut down caffeine etc during my IVF cycle. I did it a bit earlier to support DH as drinking is such a big thing to him I didn't think he could do it on his own! By the way I'm totally loving non alcoholic beer at the moment

I'm feeling better today as the down regulation symptoms seen to be easing. The weird tingling in my leg has got better too. I know it's not long before ill be feeling bloated from the stimming so I think I'll make the most of it and go out for the day. Not sure where yet though. Anyone got anything planned? (I might be able to steal some inspiration!)

cups dh's morphology was 3% and its only been a month since glasto [hmmm]. Doesn't it take 3 months for the sperm to grow?

Kitty I wouldn't worry about the drinking either. My clinic said that a couple of glasses a wine a week was absolutely fine during my treatment. I only had some after EC though as I knew I had 5 days 'off'.

Yes Kitty, 3 months for turnover of sperm. What's he like for caffeine too?
