Afternoon ladies
Thought I'd nip in and do a wee bit of brooking whilst my wee brook-ette has a nap
Now the first order of business has to be a great big hug for Maybe
. It must feel horrendous to have it so out of your control, and the symptom spotting! It's like all those months of symptom spotting have been training for this 2ww - like professional symptom spotting! I can't say any more than I hope next Friday comes round soon for you. Just keep ticking those days off and remember we're here with you every step of the way xxx
Solars hello lovely lady! So how many weeks are you now? It must be horrible to hear about the other ladies that were cycling with you :(
nurse - hello! I'm biscuits, an age old brooker. It took us 19mths to conceive ds2 (he's now 16 mths and napping away upstairs). We went to the fertility clinic and all that jazz, and DH's SA was a bit suspect. As we already had ds1 we couldn't have IVF or anything on the NHS so they sent us away with some clomid (not that I had ov issues, but there wasn't anything else they could do for us). Now, we were lucky and I got my BFP just before we had to start the clomid BUT, if anyone suggested that we got pg BECAUSE I'd relaxed, oh my goodness, I would quite possibly have lumped them! That crap used to make me so so so mad!
I do have to say though, I don't know that I would have got through it all without the lovely lovely support of the lovely lovely brookers. Seriously , they're an awesome bunch and there is no one I would have rather gone on this roller coaster ride with.
Cups - thinking of you and YAY for AF! So when will you start stimming? Have you got a scan / next appt booked? I'm thinking you have something on Monday but am I making this up?
Right, I have to go and get a few jobs done (actually shower and straighten my hair before going out tonight - whoop whoop!) so catch you brookers later xx
