Oh I hope mine arrive today too, although if they don't it's probably a good thing as I'll have to wait another day!

lindamagoo · 04/06/2013 10:49

Only ordered them on Sun, arrived really quick and yes I caved and done 1, clearly insane but I'm sure I c a tiny faint line, but I know it's not really there, lol Grin

I really hope it is there Linda I ordered mine on Sunday too. Can't remember if they are being delivered to work or to the house. Might have to take a wander up to the office and check.

lindamagoo · 04/06/2013 11:28

It's a nice day, take a wee walk up and c. Don't think I'd get a line this soon but u never know Grin

DisneyDiva87 · 04/06/2013 12:20

There's nothing for me at the office Sad maybe they'll arrive tomorrow. Still, it's a good thing it'll put me 1 day closer (or more) to AF by the time they arrive.

I'd have been surprised if they had arrived already, I'm way up in Aberdeen and all the delivery companies seem to think that is the back of beyond and they need gherkas, donkeys and a full week of travelling to get here

armywag21 · 04/06/2013 12:29

Hiya, I'm due period in 2 weeks ish, been off pill since jan. partner is in the army and was home from the 17th may to the 2nd June. We're hoping this month is the month it's going to happen for us.. Due my period around the 14th-17th June. What symptoms should I be looking out for?

lindamagoo · 04/06/2013 12:49

Haha Disney, that literally made me lol, the kids r lookin at me like I'm crazy Grin

Hi armywag and welcome to the mad house Grin The symptoms I had this early in my previous pregnancies were tummy cramps and slight nausea, I'm having both again now but think its imaginary coz I'm so desperate, lol Grin

armywag21 · 04/06/2013 12:54

Hi Linda, I've had this discharge with pinky/bloody stuff in it this morning. I'm also not feeling very hungry and getting dull period type aches in my lower belly. Dunno if its all in my head tho lol. Very impatient right now.

DisneyDiva87 · 04/06/2013 13:19

It's no joke Linda! I need to POAS to vent my crazy.

Not wanting to get your hopes up armywag but that does sound pretty good

armywag21 · 04/06/2013 13:23

Yeah, I'm kinda not getting my hopes up. Feeling down about it all to be honest. But keeping my fingers crossed.

DisneyDiva87 · 04/06/2013 13:58

Try and keep yourself busy to stop you dwelling on it too much (easier said than done!)

It is annoying how there is nothing you can do and no way of being sure until af arrives. I wish I was born 50 years ago when you just got married and didn't use contraception so you weren't actively TTC and it just happened when it happened. I think if hubby had been happy for me to come of the pill earlier I don't think I would be so crazy and desperate to get upduffed ASAP!

armywag21 · 04/06/2013 14:04

I know. It's worrying me more cuz with my little boy who's now nearly 3 I had a awful pregnancy, he was 9weeks prem but went into labour at 29 weeks also. All through pregnancy I was in and out of hospital and after I've had no end of problems. Always got this nagging voice saying things are going to go wrong or it won't happen at all. Sad

lindamagoo · 04/06/2013 14:06

Oh armywag the bloody discharge sounds like a really good sign of implantation, fingers crossed for uSmile

I had the coil removed months ago but decided 2 wait a few months 2 let my body settle before trying, wish we had just went for it straight away now Hmm

I just thought! I'm going to a pals house tonight for dinner and I shall be going via Sainsburys... I may have to pick up more than a carton of fruit just and some olives

MrsJK · 04/06/2013 18:56

Sooo managed to swing by SuperDrug this afternoon & just POAS and swear there is a v faint line.

I know I know I don't know why I've done this to myself as I'm no Further forward. Going to have to wait to use FMU aren't I?! Ladies Confused

lindamagoo · 04/06/2013 19:00

Oh MrsJK that sounds promising, can't wait til the morning 2 find out how it goes Smile Best of luck 2 u Smile

OP posts:
poeia · 04/06/2013 20:28

MrsJK that is very promising....they say that a line is a line and you don't get false positives don't they? Exciting! What does FMU stand for?

I'm going from feeling almost constant twinges in my lower abdomen, headaches and slight nausea, to convincing myself it's all in the head as we didnt actually DTD enough or perhaps even at the right time!

Off to look up tests on amazon all the same...!

MrsJK · 04/06/2013 21:08

Just found this Grin

lucidlady · 05/06/2013 07:39

So....yesterday I walked past a Superdrug and thought, oooh must buy their tests....I am currently 11 DPO so thought, what the hell. V faint line at 6pm. Tried a Boots test an hour later, and if I squinted really hard could just make out a second even fainter line. Left it another couple of hours, used the second Superdrug test and BING. Proper visible BFP!!! Am now a bit shell shocked and off to the chemist first thing this morning to be totally sure...but looks like we may have a little lucid on the way! Eeek!!!

Thank you to whoever recommended the Superdrug tests, both the Boots test and the cheapo Poundland strips clearly aren't as sensitive. Might try a digital one this morning.

Best of luck to everyone else - will report back later as to whether or not the next test backs up Superdrug!

lucidlady · 05/06/2013 07:40

Ps MrsJK do the other test!!
