Cycle convergence - particularly with work colleagues

Hi this may seem a bit weird but I'm hoping that someone else might have experienced this. I am a teacher currently TTC and my nursery nurse is TTC too.
At the moment she is having very long cycles, possibly linked to being stressed. Her AF may have arrive by now but hadn't on friday (I'm poorly at home today). I am wondering if she is having an effect on my cycles and if anyone else has experienced this. I am aware this can happen in families and with women who live together but this is specifically in a work context.
My cycles had been quite regular but in the last three have been more erratic.
So for my Feb-March cycle It was 28 days and I oved around days 16/17.
for March-April cycle it was 24 days and I oved around day 13/14.
and for this cycle April-March I am now on day 29 and oved around day 18/19. I am currently feeling quite PMTish and AF would normally arrive around now.
I live with no other women and my other LSA is well over menopausal age so has no influence on cycles. I spend about 7-8 working hours a day with this person and am fully aware that it could just be one of those things but would be interested to know if anyone has experineced this. I used to work with about 6 or 7 other women, and yes, we all got into 'sync'.

Its not ncommon for women working together to find that cycles do get sync.

Having said that though your friend's very long cycles may also be linked to hormonal imbalances particularly if this is a long standing problem. Its certainly not the case that stress is the cause.

A normal cycle is a cycle length of between 21 and 35 days or with less than 4 days of variation from month to month.

The surest way you would know if ovulation has occured during a specific cycle is to have a blood test done. Generally speaking both ovulation predictor kits and temp charting can be misleading indicators.

You may be right attila, with hormone imbalances going on for either one of us. My cycles up to now have been very regular within 24-28days (since June last year) even though I've been hanging around on the board for ages the serious TTCing has only ben going on for a couple of months so I think if I asked for tests my GP would send me away to wait and try for longer.
Thanks
