Welcome aboard ladies (though obviously sorry you have to be here). We're a friendly bunch so come in and plump up a cushion for POAS Fridays and lots of posifrickingtivity. With a few (gentle) fish slaps thrown in for good measure.

Hi ladies added my stats. Not posted in a while but been lurking. Sorry to see the new ladies here. Fingers crossed for Saggy and Santa.
As you can see from my stats then I am not sure if I am on cycle 1 or 2 as technically im cd 50 but I had some spotting on cd 32-35 of what was a 38 day cycle which I foolishly started to think could be impantation. Got my las BFN a week ago so definately not preggo. Somone further up the post mentioned about getting a scan as AF was so late. I waited 10 weeks for my first AF and I went to GP a few days before it arrived and she just told me to wait another month. So was thinking of waiting until 22nd May to see if I get a proper AF then but just realised that that is still 4 weeks away! I really hate wtf cycles!

Thundercatsarego · 25/04/2013 15:26

Hi everyone. Thank you for the posifrickintivity yesterday, I was definitely having one of those days but have slapped pulled myself out of it now and have got things back in perspective.

I am:

Thundercats 0DC, 1MMC ttc cycle 5 (sob) broken thyroid so not going anywhere for a while yet

fod27 · 25/04/2013 17:49

purple give yourself time, remember your hormones are all The place atm and be sure to lap up the excellent care you should be getting at home, you will need it zxxxxxx hugs xxxxx

SaggyOldClothCatPuss · 25/04/2013 18:07

Still feeling decidedly pregnant here. Sore boobs, nausea, manky taste in my mouth and a headache. I had better get a BFP or my head might explode! The only reason I can think of for not getting one yet and no AF either, is that I ovulated late and it's still not 14 days since. I did have a day quite late on when I might have done, which would make Sunday day 14. Either that or I am totally deluding myself, I've completely lost the plot and I need the men in white coats to come and take me away! Confused

Mummytothearkbuilder · 25/04/2013 18:10

Saggy - sounds very promising!! Fingers crossed.

I was feeling positive however I have had horrendous back ache the last few days so thinking AF is on the way - I'm only 9dpo and still a bit concerned by my luteal phase :-( x

Emki · 25/04/2013 19:43

Fingers crossed saggy, Santa and mummy and anyone else POAS tomorrow x

Floweroct · 25/04/2013 20:05

F&!k f&%k looks like af is here :( had been building my hopes up all day.

Don't understand why this ttc business is so hard literally feel like my life's been in hold for two years!

Sorry for the rant right now some positives:
I ovulated
My cycles now seem to be regular
I will not be at risk of giving birth on Xmas day :)

alyant79 · 25/04/2013 20:06

Question: how many days dpo do you think it's worth testing? Will only be 10-11 dpo tomorrow, af due next fri at the latest but realistically any time in the next week as I think my cycles are short.
Any point in poas tomorrow?

alyant79 · 25/04/2013 20:07

BUGGER flower :(

Mummytothearkbuilder · 25/04/2013 20:15

Oh flower sorry to hear that :-( I understand completely what you mean about life being in hold - its exactly how I feel - If I get told to relax and go with the flow once more I think I will scream!! Treat yourself to something nice and yummy Hun and great news in the positive points xx

SaggyOldClothCatPuss · 25/04/2013 20:19

Sorry for AF Flower. Fingers crossed that next month will be your month. X
Alyant it is POAS Friday. Give it a go but don't get despondent if it doesn't show up yet.
Flower's mention of christmas has just made me do the sums. If I am PG it will be due January 1st! New year baby!

Emki · 25/04/2013 20:25

So sorry flower and I know exactly what you mean about life on hold and agree with everything mummy said- I'm in a state at the thought if ttc today - my mum said - just relax Grrrrrr! Yes treat yourself - much love to you x

Zeuxippe · 25/04/2013 20:27

Hello just popping on to say hi and to wish you luck for fertile Friday!

7+0 tomorrow here so am keeping my fingers and toes crossed that this one's going to stick around.

purple glad you found the thread. The lovely ladies here will look after you I'm sure x

PurpleGeekyGirl · 25/04/2013 20:28

Hugs to those af has got. Thanks for the support and welcome Smile had another up and down day but am being kind to myself and have immersed myself in a photo challenge to give me something to focus on. BF away for two nights so am catching up with cat cuddles instead and trying to remain positive about this whole ttc malarkey but I have to admit to feeling very Envy about two people I know who have got pg when they didn't want to. Why cant it happen for us?! Ah well.

SaggyOldClothCatPuss · 25/04/2013 20:30

It will Purple, it will.

Floweroct · 25/04/2013 20:47

Thanks everyone it's nice to share with people that understand. I try to be positive with oh cos I don't want to drag him down too! Had a good cry and now got fish and chips and glass of wine :)

I'm going to put my efforts into running now I had this as my focus last year and it was quite good so now the nights are lighter and it's not so cold I'm going to dust off my trainers :)

Have my fingers crossed for all of those testing tomorrow x

PurpleGeekyGirl · 25/04/2013 20:52

I shall repeat that mantra saggy!

Mummytothearkbuilder · 25/04/2013 21:23

Ohhh flower I am thinking of taking up running - I had started the couch to 5k and then found out I was pregnant so stopped. I thought it would be easier now the nights are lighter but I'm über aware of people seeing me run - I am very lumpy and bumpy so god knows what I look like :-( might have to bite the bullet and not care what people think!! Xx

katerinaemalina · 25/04/2013 21:31

Boo sorry flower. Such a limbo land and so frustrating. Suppose the best things come to those who wait (though I'm fed up of waiting) I'm due mon and have no symptoms whatsoever so presume witch will come Confused feeling rather miserable today. Though tomorrow is happy Friday so hoorah for that. Santa and saggy all sounds promising best of luck and all fingers crossed xx

katerinaemalina · 25/04/2013 21:33

I still can't bring myself to talk to preg friends. Going to have to call them soon. One knows one doesn't. Don't know which is worse! Meh.

Floweroct · 25/04/2013 21:40

Just do it mummy! Ooh I sound like a Nike ad!

I started with the couch to 5k this time last year and managed to do a 10k in sept before I got pregnant in October and haven't really run since then so think I'm going to have to build myself back up again!

Mummytothearkbuilder · 25/04/2013 21:57

Thanks flower - I will give it a go this week - I did really enjoy it its just the poor people that have to see me flopping about!! Anything to take my mind off TTC!! X

IBelieveInPink · 25/04/2013 22:35

Hey ladies. Just Wanted to say hello and good luck for those poas tomorrow. Still hovering in the background, and wishing you all lots of poas luck and happier times soon as possible!! Thanks

fod27 · 25/04/2013 22:41

Awwww flower really sorry to read that AF got to you ;( I've been cramping n spotting (crossing my fingers for implantation bleed) but I'm due AF Sunday....soooo sods bloody law I too will be joining the 'Damn my body club'

SaggyOldClothCatPuss · 25/04/2013 23:00

Mummy there is a bloke round here, we unimaginatively christened him 'The Running Man'. He started a few years ago, he would struggle round the village, in a straining running vest, red in the face and sweating. He did look funny, but I always really admired him for doing it. Nowadays he is really fit, runs with ease, and regularly does marathons! I am really jealous!
Ive just been and bought some First Responsers. They are on special offer in Tesco ATM. £7.00 for 2. Fingers crossed for tomorrow. I have an awful feeling it will be BFN or I will wake up tomorrow with AF.
