Short luteal phase - anyone any luck with progesterone cream or b6?

Having tracked my cycles for a bit it seems I have a lpd, roughly about 8 days on average. Has anyone experienced this and had any luck with supplements or progesterone cream? Debating going to doc but would really appreciate anyone's experiences.

Can't offer any advice but would be interested to see what others say!

Only started charting my bbt and paying real attention to when I ov this month and have found I'm ov today which is cd17! Later than I expected.

All I can really tell you is what I was told by my gynae. I said I had a 10/11 day lp and she said that was too short. I told her I was taking b6 to try and extend it and she said she had done research on it and had found no evidence to suggest it lengthened LPs. However a lot of people on here swear that it helps.
I would say an 8 day lp is a problem and a fertility doctor should take it seriously. In my experience GPs are generally clueless on this so don't let them fob you off. Short LPs can be a sign of ovulation issues and can be easily sorted out with things like clomid. But the reason for the short lp should be investigated.
Some people on MN may say their lp is 8/9 days and they conceived and I think it is possible on the odd occasion. But I have read it takes on average an embryo 9 days to implant so you can see why I was told my 10/11 day lp was even too short.
I have done the progesterone cream and the biggest effect it had was making my breasts less sore each month. No change to my LP but obviously everyone is different.
