Well I am dusting down the drivers seat and kick starting the April bus for those the BFP fairy missed on the lucky Mad March bus. Fingers crossed the destination for this one is 'Baby Central'.

I think I need some advice here if you kind ladies don't mind...today I am CD37 and 16DPO after coming off the pill in September last year my cycles have been all over the shop, according to my 'fertility friend' AF is due today, yet yesterday and this morning I have had brown sticky CM, a lot more today than yesterday, although its now 11am and it's vanished again, as it did yesterday... And still no sign of AF, I have been having some very very light cramps but nothing to complain about and tender boobs around the armpit area..I did a test this morning and got bfn?! I'm so confused?! Any ideas/advice would be most welcome :) thank you x

Fingers crossed for you purple! We are in a similar situation, I'm with a new partner (of almost 5yrs), DD is with horrid ex. Getting married next month Am a bit worried about the big age gap between kids but that's another thread. ..

BohoZenMummy I am worried about a large gap too, if I am pg this month then it will be nearly an 11 year age gap...! I'm also wondering if I am completely bonkers wanting to do it all again when ds is totally independent and I have got my weekend lie ins back again!!! Good luck with the wedding

Purple - Yes I look at mums with new babies and think gosh can I really go through all that again! Esp when DD is acting up! Bedtimes are still an issue, am hoping she will grow out of the evening faffing by the time #2 comes along.

Boho yeah same here but Bf does not have kids of his own and will make an excellent dad... I hope anyway once the sleep deprivation kicks in!! I'm in West Yorks

My new partner doesn't have kids of his own either. Do you know of any good books for kids about gaining a step-parent? She gets on with him but can be quite horrible to him at times and I wonder if this is just her way of processing it all. She is excited about the prospect of #2 though!

No, don't know any any books, sorry. My son was eight when I split with my husband and got with my boyfriend. They just developed their own relationship at their own pace alongside ours and we took it slowly ie BF didnt stay over for a couple of months when ds was there. Now they have a fab relationship (thankfully) although ds does wind bf up till he snaps sometimes! That's only really happened since we started living together full time in Feb, before then he was away 3-4 nights per week due to his job. My ex marries his fiancé next month so he'll have a formal step mum alongside our less formal arrangement.

Can I add mouth ulcers to my list of symptoms now please? I never ever get them but have two at the moment and they are very annoying, not painful but keep catching on my teeth when I eat still no af and no BFP... Wish I knew one way or the other as I want to move on for next month or get excited! Being in limbo past the TWW is stamps feet NO FAIR .

I got my +OPK on Tuesday and I've dtd last Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday and this morning, do you ladies think I'm dtd enough or too much? Do I need to continue dtd every day?

wardy17 we have dtd every other day this cycle from cd4. Talk about a sex fest prior cycles we dtd 2-3 a week but not necessarily every other day, or at the right time. BF only moved in properly in Feb tho so it's been hard to time it right!

Wards I don't think you can DTD too much:) sounds like you have times it just right!

All those in limbo, are you using Internet cheapie tests? I as and got the teensiest hint of a line that could easily be missed if I wasn't squinting and focussing really hard! I used a more expensive CB test and hey presto! BFP! Might be worth investing in for peace of mind either way?

penny have tried with cb digi, frer and super drug early one. I refuse to test again till sat if no af! With ds I was already a week late so didn't go through any of this

Hello all, no af this morning (usually like clockwork) so i poas and bfn?? Felt really dizzy today too. Also I seem to have more cm than usual...suppose I will wait and see if AF shows up, or not as the case may be.

Good luck bikey86 I'm 2 days late but no BFP, I def feel pg tho, not like other months when it was wishful thinking and af was bang on time..!

At the risk of tmi, my symptoms so far (and different to non pg months are):

Loads of yellowy and creamy cm
Mouth ulcers
No AF!!
Thirst: I can't drink enough and am not peeing as much as I normally would after drinking pints and pints of squash!
Altered taste
Hungry but don't know what to eat, wanting bland stodgy food
Not craving chocolate
Taste in my mouth like I've been sucking paracetomol tablets
Constant nausea which gets really bad at different times of the day, particularly first thing in morning and if I haven't eaten for a bit
Strong aversion to some smells and a much more acute sense of smell...

I'll be cd29 tomorrow, but af is usually here on cd25-26.

Ooh purple that sounds very positive!
My symptoms so far are:
Sore boobs in the armpit area
Yellowy/creamy cm
Vivid dreams
Brown discharge last Thursday but none since

I'm cd35 tomorrow and still no AF but before the coil my cycles were about 33 days so maybe 2days late. Going to hold off with poas until Saturday if I can and keeping everything crossed!

I'm hoping so wannabemum! It's def different to previous months anyways... Am off to pound land tomorrow to get some cheapies! FX to you too

Couldn't resist, just ordered some clearblue tests but they wont get here till next week. If I can hold off until then, and AF still hasn't arrived I should know for sure!

How do you know you're 16dpo, do you use opks?
Depending on what pill you were on it can take a while to get back to normal.

Yay purple congratulations, that's fantastic! With those kinda symptoms it was lookoing good! At what point did you start to notice them?
