Well I am dusting down the drivers seat and kick starting the April bus for those the BFP fairy missed on the lucky Mad March bus. Fingers crossed the destination for this one is 'Baby Central'.

How exciting! A positive on opk just now :) DTD tues and last night and will DTD again tonight. Do we need to DTD again tomorrow? Should we just keep going lol?

Hi everyone. Can I join you in the two week wait? I only recently started TTC and I have already become obsessed. I am sitting at work reading through mumsnet posts instead of focusing on my work like I should.

gilly and penny - I think, (presuming you like it ), just do it lots! And don't stress about when to do it. But then I am not pregnant and never have been. I've heard others - who will hopefully be along to offer more useful advice, say that little swimmers are at their best with a couple of days in between but not sure how true that is. Also don't stop boffing when you think your fertile period is over as I don't think any apps or sticks or thermometers can predict absolutely everything. But then I am very much in the not very helpful laid back school and don't use any of them.

Can I just ask what everyone's doing about drinking alcohol when TTC? I have been drinking "normally", which is less than when I was uni, but more than a pregnant person! Prob 1 glass a couple of nights a week, and a few more glasses if we are out for dinner or have friends over.

AF's due next weekend - no symptoms whatsoever so far but just wondering if I should feel guilty for having a couple of glasses in front of TV tonight?

I don't really want to abstain completely as who knows how long this process will take! Just wondered what everyone else is doing!

The BFP Birthday bus for May is now leaving the depot (birthday bus because it's my birthday 1-2 days before the BFP is due ...... I wonder)

hello! can I join in? TTC since 18th March when I had implant removed, so not really sure when to expect a BFP but hoping for an April or May :) no nasty AF as yet so I shall decline some wine

lisbapalea I've been drinking less that normal but I've been on holiday this week so had a couple of glasses of wine on a few nights. AF is due today though so I'm going to poas before I go out for my birthday next weekend, that will be my decider on how much I shall drink (if at all!) that is if AF doesn't get to me first! Xxx

We're off to visit friends this weekend who we have a track record of being fairly boozy with, which is what has prompted my question..

I will definitely try to summmon up some willpower to take a cautious approach given I am theoretically in the 2WW, even if I am symptom-less!

I only tend to drink when AF is here. I try to avoid it in the fertile days as I have read that alcohol makes the "environment" too acidic and unfriendly for the swimmers.

If I'm out with friends and don't want them to ask questions, I ask the bar tender to make me a virgin mojito so it looks like I'm drinking. Lame, I know...the things you do when TTC!

We'll I haven't been in that position yet but my intention is to not drink from fertile time to af just in case but can't promise that's how it'll work out. Dds were not planned so haven't done a 2ww yet.

Well after poas yesterday AF has now arrived early so I'm out :( Off to join the May bus. Good luck everyone!
