I am worried it is age related or weight related

very happy to have links or pointers to other sites rather than asking people to repeat loads of complicated stuff

I got pg at 41 after losing some weight but I did initially have a BMI of above 30.

I stopped BF since I had decided that was to blame now I've decided it's the weight!!
May I be so rude as to ask how much you lost? (you could PM me if you wanted)

Hi Southwest, if you're interested there's a great thread for us over 40's TTC, it is here: www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/1648815-Fantastic-Forty-Plus-part-9-this-time-is-our-time-bring-on-the-bfps

I had a baby at 41+9 months. But since my fertility returned and baby was 18 months I have been ttc and have had three miscarriages (baby is now 4 and a half). For me it is definitely age related. It may just be that you have to be patient (I know how hard that is), but it wouldn't hurt to talk to your GP about some testing: FSH, progesterone and others (which I can't remember). Loads of great advice and info on the over 40's thread. Hope to see you there. Smile
