Pink and Notso well done! Brilliant news!
Sorry I haven't been on here this week, work has been so busy that I haven't been on mumsnet at all! Unheard of!
Wardy it is possible to have a pos OPK and not ovulate, and it is possible to have no pos OPK and ovulate! They are useful but can miss your surge, or your surge might naturally not be high enough to trigger them. I have never had a positive OPK but I know I ovulate as I have been pregnant! Temping is more accurate, but only tells you that you have already Ov'd that cycle, and a day 21 blood test is supposedly the only way to 100% confirm ovulation.
My GP recently tested me for thyroid issues (hypothyroid) because of wacky long cycles and low body temperature. They did one blood test and managed to rule out PCOS, thyroid, cancer, menopause....and they did that after just two longer than usual cycles. It really annoys me that some GPs will do tests and spend a few quid on you, whilst others will fob you off indefinitely.
So this week I have had sore boobs (since 4 dpo), pink spotting on Wednesday and nausea when not shovelling food in my gob. Trying to keep a lid on hopefulness...11 dpo so I should probably test!
