So after ungracefully falling off the back of the February bus iv hijacked another decorated it with fairy lights and stocked it full of cream soda and oreo biscuits.

Ladies, can anyone help re opks? Do they gradually get darker toward ovulation or do they go suddenly? I should be getting a positive over the next few days, but absolutely nothing, not even a faint line. Hmm...

SpringBells i think they are suppose to go suddenly. You should only be able to detect a surge for at most 1-2 days. However that said, I've never had any luck with IC OPKs. I even tried doing it twice a day. I've bought a CBFM for my next cycle, but so far AF is evading me. (On 20 DPO currently).

Aww no pixie have some faith...there's still a chance of BFP, although I am currently convincing myself AF will arrive on Monday. I would rather be pessimistic than get my hopes up for no reason! Sorry to all the ladies that the witch has got to this week fx for next month and hopefully April will be the time! Christmas babies anyone? Xxx

Thanks everyone. Think I'd next be due on towards end of march so still on this bus. I. Certainly wasnt expecting to be pregnant so not really surprised at af.
Got my day1-4 blood test tomorrow and then gotta make am appointment to see doc to go over results, so we'll see.

Im feeling a little better, DH has cheered me up with his unrelenting positivity and his absolute conviction that we're meant to have a Christmas baby!

Out of interest, does anyone take any supplements? I'm thinking of starting a separate thread about it, at the minute I'm just taking folic acid and vitamin d.

pistachio I'm using pregnacare his and hers, if that's the kind of supplement you mean.

pistachio I'm taking sanatogen's 'mum to be' think it's called and vit b6.
spring my ic opks start off blank and then get very faint line couple days before and then get dark line and then gradually goes again over nxt couple days.

hum pistachio now the last 6 months I have taken soooo many vits, my daily list was ad follows, I say was as I'm no longer taking the zinc
1 x vitabiotics immuncare (as it has all the pregnancy vits plus extra d3, women are advised to take d3 during ivf to help the egg stick, I figured I wanted some of that)
1 x 500mg vit c (vit c helps fertility)
1 x 15mg zinc (as above zinc helps fertility)
1 x 400mg vit e (helps fertility and can also help post ov spotting which I had an issue with)
4 x 10mg b6 (this was to stop post ov spotting too)

oh and all my opks had lines (although I only used them for 6 days over ov) they just got heaps darker when I ovd.

Thanks for the supplement information, I think I might do some more research and raid holland and Barrett! cleo, can I ask why you stopped taking the zinc? Was it for any reason?
