Magical mystical march bus..... Let's get them bfp's

So after ungracefully falling off the back of the February bus iv hijacked another decorated it with fairy lights and stocked it full of cream soda and oreo biscuits.

Here hoping march brings some much needed sunshine and all the bfps!!

I wouldn't be guilty of meandering through the baby department of John Lewis on the way to the loos and having an experimental drive of a pram, oh no. I also wouldn't see a shop assistant approaching and quickly scarper before she asks me when my non-existent baby is due! Not me, no siree. Ahem Wink

haha Grin this made me LoL. its sad but its soo true... the things we do... we were actually discussing which one would fold up better to go in my little car boot.
is amazin how baby stuff has changed since i last had a baby... bottle shapes, bpa-free this-and-that , and techno baby monitors... 4 years ago it was a lightup tomy one. now its sensor mats n mini cctv lol

13dpo today my temps still above coverline but still bfn. kinda frustrated cos it dropped yesterday and i thought af would come but still nothing.. it wouldve ment no bfp but at least id have known what my bodys doing now Hmm

back to waiting

Hello is there any room on the bus for me? I don't mind where I sit, long as I'm on it. Currently ttc #3, hoping for a bpf early march (not sure exactly when as this is the first month I've had an af since having dc2 (so this is cycle 1) reckon about 6 march maybe (not been very scientific about it this month) ttc always does my head in a bit so it's good to read that I'm not alone. Wishing you all lots of good luck x

Hey girlies! Haven't posted on this thread yet but was just reading about you looking at baby clothes and testing prams! I was out yesterday and found I had wandered away from DH into the baby section and was looking at whole nursery sets...then thought to myself I am clearly losing my marbles a little! But I'm so glad others do it too! I just hope no one asks me when I'm due as I haven't got that far yet! Xxx

Ooh honey it's so close for you, I'm excited and have my fx for you.
Talking about how baby things have changed Shock OMG! it's been almost 14 years since I was last with child and it's honestly like my first time when I see some of the gadgets available today. I have sneaky peaks at the babies clothes while shopping but tbh Dp is the worst culprit - only last night he stopped to check out a car seat in our local supermarket, he always notices whenever pampers/huggies are on on special offer too. Bless him :)

I've managed to reign in my symptom curiosity for now although I nearly succumbed to losing the plot yesterday - I've got a few PT's in the cupboard and I found myself checking the sensitivity on them Hmm :) Had a quick look to see when it's possible to pick up a BFP, then decided to leave it.
Today - I don't know where the tests are as I forced dp to hide them from me. I only have 4/5 days until af due, and even though patience is not one of my strongest points, I can wait I can! no really, I can! :)

Very hormonal, however, I am happy that this will hopefully be my last AF for at least a year GrinWink

Db and sil are off for their 20 wk scan today . Bump is growing super quickly and I, having started ttc 3 mths earlier am STILL ttc Sad. Everything's def more high tech nowadays - he's bought her a heart beat listening thingy. Suprised if the baby's not in there playing angry birds on an ipad!

dondon good idea hiding hpts! Giggle at thought of you frantically turning house upside down in efforts to find them over nxt few days as your patience disappears! Be super impressed if u can wait, I have zero patience!
Still 10 days for me and expecting af. So annoying to have to wait for her tho...she might as well get here now and get it over with!

Oh Pixie, it's hard when that happens Sad, but I keep thinking that it happened for them, and it will happen for us too! I did laugh at the angry birds playing baby though! Grin

On the subject of baby gear, last months boots magazine had a short feature in TTC which was talking about the benefits of keeping a positive frame of mind. It suggested kitting out a nursery as a strong positive image! I don't know about anyone else, but my poor DH would think I'd finally lost the plot if I suggested turning the spare room into a nursery to help us conceive!

lmao! i agree that DPs can be just as bad.. he was looking and test driving too so it would be hypocritical of him to bring it up phaha

i love wearing slings, having bubba snuggled up close..

i am... my temp went back up by .2 again and boobs still tingle.. but i can feel pmt on the horizon, therefore due to start biting DPs head off bless him poor bloke
im not used to this, when ive had a bfp before, ive had it bout 10 dpo x

pistachio my sis has been ttc for years (she has clotting and thyroid problems) and i came across her top draw of baby clothes.. felt sad for her but also thought it was a tiny bit wierdBlush x

A heartbeat listening thingy I personally could think of nothing worse -imo it's a recipe to drive you insane/cause huge panic/ un necessary stress.
Babies heart rates sound crazy they can go up and down by a huge difference, which is all perfectly normal to an expert. I always ask in hospital when strapped to the monitor that they turn the sound off - midwife can monitor it without making me nervous.

Give it time - modern technology will advance enough soon that we'll be able to send mini spy-cams in there strapped to the back of a sperm, to capture all from conception to birth. Okay! so maybe that's a bit far fetched but it sounds good :)

That's the good thing pixie because I've told dp to hide them and he knows when af is due - the sod :) absolutely won't give them to me now, god knows where he's put them, they're not in obvious places not that I've looked :)
That's why I was a little torn between early testing - I'm sick of waiting and I'd rather disappoint myself rather than have AF do it for me. But the more sensible part of my brain said Nooooo! there's not enough hGC there to be accurate anyway.

honey I can see why your dsis bought it all-it's so tempting but have absolutely resisted the urge so far. Bless her, so Sad when dc so desperately wanted but dont arrive
I like idea of sperm-cams...other thing I would like whilst we're inventing is easy artificial insemination for when dh is not around at fertile time!
ELA I'm pretty sure mine will be af unfortunately as dh was away with work just when I needed him...but hope yours is bfp instead!

Into the two week wait now though not entirely sure when I ovulated if at all. Had my progesterone blood test today so just waiting for af then I can have the day 1-4 blood test.
