Hi Rachel,
Many of us on here have PCOS and have successfully had babies so stop worrying. Its just a longer road for some of us. My story after diagnose of PCOS involved going on a serious diet of low GI foods and being prescribed metformin. I lost 2 stone and gave up alcohol completly. Then we did clomid for 6 months with no success, then IVF round 1 which failed. That took 4 years. Then IVF 2 produced 5 healthy embryos and 1 became DS, then we had a frozen cycle and had DS2 and another FET for DD. So be careful what you wish for!:)
Do some research, change your diet and make an appoinment with an acupuncturist with a special interesst in infertility. Make an appointment with your GP and get referred to your local fertility clinic to discuss a plan of action. Dont wait, take action now and remember to stop and breathe once in a while. Dont let it consume you. Everything takes time.
Good luck!

I'd certainly agree with doing more research into PCOS as knowledge is power and can help you more when it comes to making treatment decisions.

Verity's website may prove to be helpful to you www.verity-pcos.org.uk

I would visit the GP together asap and ask to be referred to the subfertility unit at hospital particularly as you state you have been trying now for a while. Also you already have a PCOS diagnosis so do take action asap.

Sorry Attila, no advice on PCOS but three of my family and friends had this, one of them pretty bad, and they all now have healthy children. One of tem has two. It took some slight medical intervention in some cases but it worked.

All te best

Maz xxxx
