sweetie Shock just Shock at how rude and insensitive your consultant was, definately go elsewhere

boo hope you and booby boony are well today

gen your DD sounds really sweet, can't believe you only have 10 weeks to go

We've also been to see Bond, MrB kept trying to cover my eyes whenever Daniel Craig was semi-naked :o

cups hope you get a new appointment sorted soon

keep sorry that mummykeep is leaving tomorrow, hope you've had a lovely time with her (did she enjoy Bond as well? - my mum did :o ) I do get to see my parents quite often, we've just booked a trip to England for Xmas. They'll have to come to us next year as we'll have a tiny baby or I'll be too pregnant to fly - though I thought that last year too Sad

I got a letter from the hospital yesterday informing me that my "cd21" test last month did show that I ovulated, not that this came as a huge surprise to me - but it was nice to have it confirmed. Now I just need to get MrB to JIAJ again and then we can go back to see the doctor. Though of course I will get pregnant this month sO I won't need to :o

Sweetie what a complete twunt of a Dr, she should not be working in such a sensitive department with that attitude, I would make a complaint, I really would!

Cups How frustrating for you, I can't believe how much they are messing you about. Broking the forms arrive soon.

Beedle Good news on the unsurprising result. Good luck with Mr B and his date with the jar, brooking he 'does the job' soon Grin

Right thats your lot, for now cos I luffs you all really i'm going back to ignoring you [petulant sulking emoticon] .............. you all know why, you are bringing this on yoursef Wink

BeedleTheBard · 06/11/2012 15:06

Now boo stop that flouncing and sulking, its not good for little booby :o

Report
TrickorTreatSweetie · 06/11/2012 18:28

boo please calm down and stop with the flouncing already it won't be doing the boobies any good at all Wink

Cup that should sort it out, it will be winging its way to you very soon

Beedle it is nice to see these things in black & white confirming what we already know

keep I am loving baby Calcutta, very exotic but you might want to agree it with DH first Grin

Gen only 10 week until the big sneeze, how time flies. Loving DDs comments so pleased she is looking forward to the new arrival

come on, mrbeedle JIAP already! Didn't he take ages to get round to it last time...? Wait until after ov, though, beeds - no wasting those swimmers on a pot! congrats on confirming ov. I agree with you this seems a little pointless when we know ourselves as we do by now (sigh) but i suppose you never know.

I can't really contemplate christmas. How does one feel christmassy in 35deg heat? We'll be on a beach... Anyone Envy??

. Honestly, is this just a way to drag things out? you could just bring them with you to the ivf appointment!

gen 10 weeks! Wowee! you must be so excited! hope you're feeling well. When will you stop work? your DD sounds so cute! I can't remember if you know what colour brooking baby you're having?

now no, boo, i'm not one for flouncing! just calm down, dear. booby loves the name.

cd8 today and still a bit of brownish cm the last few days, which is unusual. I forgot to poaCBFMs this morning, so maybe this 'relaxed' approach will be my winner.

Think i said it, sweets but i'd complain too. But i think they should have talked to you about donor egg options whether you are paying or it's NHS. I do not think we should accept an inferior service on the NHS, and that's what this was

India. It's nice, actually (the name, don't know about the place yet). But would feel too sorry for the child to have that as their name. In this vein, if next month is my month should I be considering 'Isabella Ulrica Iantha' (IUI) or perhaps 'petri(dish)'?? Grin I think Petri is actually a name!!?

okey dokey, i suppose i should do some work, then

keep I've almost done the hot christmas thing its a bit weird. One of my friends lives in a hot country and we were visiting in December one year, we went to an outdoor carol concert, so we were singing carols whilst outside dressed in summer dresses, whilst also listening to monkeys in the trees and the muslim call to prayer. Most odd, but very nice. Now I prefer a nice snowy christmas :o

Right I'm off to a work conference for 2 days, its not my favourite thing to do as 2 days of solid swedish is a bit tough on my brain and makes me very tired

Waves to all

I did the hot xmas thing too, spent 2003 on Manly beach in Sydney. I was with 2 friends and we wore red white and blue bikinis along with Santa hats! Our portable CD player which was playing cheesy xmas songs overheated and packed up! (twas before the days of ipod/mp3!) I am slightly Envy of the sunshine keep but I definitely prefer a cold yuletide! Smile

I spent Christmas 2004 on Bondi beach (and NY day 2005 on Manly) - hot Christmases are a bit weird. All the Christmas songs about snow etc - all just odd! Christmas lights are way more festive when it gets dark before about 10pm! I'm sure you'll have a lovely Christmas anyway Keep - one to remember for sure (as you'll be confirming you BFP). How long are you over there for? Will this be your only hot Christmas?

Report
keepitgoing · 07/11/2012 08:08

yes, must be even weirder when there are long evenings. We're strictly 6-6 light here! yes, biscuits, we are planning to come home next summer, so just this year.

i don't get why the southern hemisphere and tropics don't have their own christmas songs that are about summer... It's weird!

Am in India for diwali - how awesome is that!

beedle enjoy the conference. Am v impressed with your swedish. Did you know any before you met DH or did you move there and learn?

I've only ever spent christmas at home, how very unexotic!!! although I couldnt imagine going anywhere warm anyway.

Keep yes come in to the cave of voluntary sickness come my pretties!!! I've got it all ready for the brookers, currently lined with bags and bags of crisps, crisps are the food of gods, but not beef flavoured ones, they make me vom!!!!

I've made a christmas cake for my Nan, its been soaking in brandy for a few weeks now Grin but my Nan loves a proper christmas cake, and she's a bugger to buy for, so I figured this was the best option. I'm also crocheting my nephew a blanket, he'll be nearly a year old by the time christmas comes around, but I'm making it rather sturdy so its can either be used to snuggle up with or as a play rug type thing. My sister asked me to do it, she was going to buy the yarn but I figured that my nephew is bound to be spoilt on the toy front so again best alternative.

I had a list of presents I wanted to make, but I've been a little preoccupied and the whole going to bed for 8pm is seriously eating in to my crafting time!!!

gosh, sparks, other people's pregnancies sure do zoom past. I'm sure it'll be fine - just lots of history-taking.

They have weird crisp flavours here. seaweed, spicy crab, lemongrass. urgh. My faves are old trust cheese&onion.

Princessishavingababyboo · 07/11/2012 08:48

Sparks at my booking in there were endless questions, then some more questions, pee test, blood test weight and height and loads of information given out. You will be fine.

I am another stay at home for Christmas, I sometimes go to my db for an hour but he is only 20 mins away Grin

Well I have given us trying to get you all to grow up now, booby it is [giving up emotion] well on here at least, the lovely grown ups over on the grad thread have called it booster :)

Keep Yes I'm a little weirded out by how I've got to nearly 8 weeks already (7+4) We have a private scan booked for beginning of decemeber! Thats only 3 weeks on saturday!!!!

I think mrsparks would love the seaweed flavour, he is mad for the fried stuff!!!

Report
keepitgoing · 07/11/2012 09:00

why a private scan, as you'd be 11 weeks so about to have NHS one anyway, wouldn't you?

Report
SecretSparkle · 07/11/2012 09:41

keep we'd planned to tell family (both mums know) at the beginning of December , but my NHS scan isn't until 12th I know it's only 2 weeks extra but mrsparks said he didn't mind forking out for a private one as an early Christmas pressie Grin

Report
Princessishavingababyboo · 07/11/2012 09:55

Sparks do you find that 2 weeks is a long time in preggo years! I think these early days are so long and slow.

Report
SecretSparkle · 07/11/2012 10:19

Boo absolutely, it feels like an age BUT I have to say it's nothing in comparison to TTC, time goes so slow when TTC!

Report
GenericDietCola · 07/11/2012 10:25

Beedle, glad to hear you are officially ovulating, but we knew that anyway cos you're a brooker. Anyway, brooking with the rest of them that MrB JIAJ soon, but after shag week. Enjoy the gobbledegook conference!

Boo, am I allowed to call the baby booby or booster? Either way, it's a little cracker!

Keep, I don't know what flavour I am having, so it's a UBB (unidentified brooking baby). I am sort of getting excited, but it still seems quite a long way off. I finish work at Christmas, so 6 and a half weeks to go and counting. Hot Christmas sounds a bit weird to me, but would be good to experience once. Diwali in India will be awesome!

Sparks I am well jel of your craftiness. I need to learn how to do these things. Not long til your scan now - eeeee! The booking in is just a really long, boring appointment, filling in forms and testing your blood! Very exciting though as it makes it all seem much more real, so try to enjoy it.

Morning all, just thought I'd shuffle in as you have dropped off my Threads I'm On list Blush

AF arrived again this morning, my cycles seem to have gone back to 27/28 days since the treatment [they had stretched to 30 for several months previous], not sure if that's a good thing or a sign that I'm heading for the menopause before I reach 36 at the end of the year Hmm

You all seem to be keeping well anyway, am checking up on you all regularly but not posting as I am very un-brook-like these days, hope that's ok, have pretty much accepted am not likely to have my own children so am mainly ignoring the fact I'm not on the pill and drinking too much getting on with my life, at least until january when the whole bloody treatment ride comes round again, and I haven't really decided whether or not I can face that again if the truth be told...

Much love hugs & vino, and don't forget to water the plant Grin

Report
GenericDietCola · 07/11/2012 10:49

Oh Scarlett, here, I'll 'water' you with some vodka. Enjoy a few weeks off TTC and see how you feel in Jan. It sucks doesn't it?

scarlett You can afford to holiday 3 times a year??!!

Did someone ask about other symptoms? I think it might have been Keep Yes is the answer!! The boobs are actually phenomenal, mrsparks thinks pregancy is torture, he says my boobs look amazing but he isnt allowed to play with them, and he'd be right, firstly because they are as sore as hell, and secondly because they arent toys!!! I've also got a major bloat thing going on (ive had to buy maternity clothes already), my skin is horrid, and lets not even get me started on bowel movements Blush

SecretSparkle · 07/11/2012 12:20

Not exactly glamorous is it... from dildo cams to vomit, PO-endless-S to bloating.

TV has a lot to answer for.

Hi Scarlett love. Wasn't it boo who spent the month wasted and BOOm bfp. Don't give up. You have eggs and sperm and one tube. Why no babies of your own. You have time, too. We are all brooking for you even when you're not, so don't worry about that.
