morning all, or afternoon for some of us. So i have hassled the clinic this morning and gone there in my very long lunch break and i now have teh clomid! start tonight. Then a scan next week on tuesday to see where we're at.

Am relieved that we can start this month, bit excited, bit nervous...

Keep well done on getting the clomid!! How exciting, that BFP has your name all over it!! What happens after the scan? does dh have to be ready to produce his sample? Do they also put you on the progesterone during the 2ww? And yay on DH getting back!!

Some of the kids were quite cute in their costumes but I think my sil regretted having such a big party for my niece!

yes i freaked out when i saw on the packet i've got serophene not clomiphene, but a quick google tells me it's the same thing. they've just given me a strip of pills without the writing on the packet, so i'm assuming it's the right stuff. And nothing about side effects etc. just told take it at bed time Oh well, sure it'll be ok...

OK, so this is what'll happen on my medicated iui cycle, in case you're interested.
Clomid, cd4-8
Ultrasound cd12 to check numbers of follicles and size. If more than 3 bits, cancel. If not big enough wait a few days and ?another scan
At 18mm+ take an injection to force , I think hcg
About 36 hrs later duh does his bit
2 hours after that I go in for the cleaned-up chauffeur-driven sperm
2ww as normal, no progesterone I think, though I might ask (trouble is I'll be away 7dpo so they couldn't test)
