A little help please- pregnant or not?

Hi,

Sorry I have never posted in here before so not sure if I'm doing it right :)

Basically I had sex on the 15th September with the OH. My last period was 8th sept. I am due on in the next 5-6 days but for the last 3 days have been feeling really sick in the morning and was sick this morning. I'm extremely tired and always needed a wee and over the last 2 weeks I have been off my food. Is there a chance I could be pregnant.

I have 2 children already and the morning sickness was showing straight away and I was really ill with it so could it show this early if I was?

I have also stopped smoking 3 days ago so I thought the patches may be causing my sickness, but I had the patches on around 2 weeks ago for a week and wasn't sick once and I can't seem to find any info that would lead the patches to give you sickness in the morning.

Any advice or help would be grateful! Thank you x

Redbird12 you have the same symptoms as me, it's now 3 days late which I am never. I've had sickness for nearly a week now and most mornings I am bringing up my tea. I can't drink milk or cereal as the thought of it is making me feel ill. Didn't even eat my lovely roast pork dinner yesterday or apple crumble ehich is mental as I love my Sunday dinners/puddings. I stopped smoking last week and have enjoyed the smell of smoke when the other half smokes in the garden but just had a really strong whiff of it this morning when no one was even smoking and nearly threw up!

I went to see a pyschic 3 weeks ago who told me I would be having a baby boy and that i needed to stop smoking and have tried in vain to stop over the last three weeks and managed to finally stop last Tuesday with the patches and haven't had one since, so maybe that's where my symptoms are coming from? I keep telling myself that!

Good luck with your tests, I'm sick of buying the things so going to leave it till the end of the week and see if AF comes if not, I know I'm pregnant and will go to the doctors! The waiting game is awful x x

Jksfii - good luck, let us know how you get on! I've had the sickness for nearly a week now and cramps since yesterday with slight achy back but nothing like I was due on. X

Tested this morning & negative. But no sign of AF, all cramps now gone which isn't what I would expect if i was about to come on & feel pregnant....just nearly barfed when went up to the canteen for lunch & smelt some of the food.
Plan to test again in another couple of days if AF doesn't make an appearance before then, especially knowing the 1st time I was preg, I didn't get a positive test till i was 5 weeks.

She hasn't made an appearance yet so still hope!!! Was sick as soon as I woke this morning. Just praying she doesn't come by the end of the week. I will be so upset if she does as it seems so clear I'm pregnant!

My boyfriend thought the sickness might be me leaving my patch on over night but took it off before I went to bed and was still sick this morning. He will gutted aswell if she comes! There is always next month though! Just heart breaking!

I have back ache and still very very light cramping but the back ache is there? Is that a sign? Lol

I must go to the toilet around 15 times a day to check If she has come and get so excited when she hasn't. I'm 4 days late today, going to go and get some more tests today

Fingers crossed for me and everyone else waiting!

With my dd I got negatives every day for a week after I was due af, so keep everything crossed!

I did another test this morning but still BFN! I'm now 4 days late as well and don't know what to think anymore. I'm wondering if my cycle's got messed up by being on holiday last month & the change in routine. I'm trying to let myself down gently so I don't get my hopes up as it doesn't seen very likely that I really am pregnant based on the test results -however, I will test again in 2 days time.

Appreciate the message sparkle101, does give me some hope to keep on testing.

Let me know how you are getting on mummyoftwo and jksfii?

Well I'm out :( :( :( either I have my dates mixed up and it's implantation bleeding or the bitch has come. Normally my period on my first day is very painful and heavy! Changing tampax every hour and a half usually but not today!

I wiped today and it was very light pink so just used a tampax and thought obviously not my month. I took it out about an hour later, normally it'd covered but I looked at it and it was brown blood with a bit of red. I put in another one and took it out about half an hour ago and it was brown again with a little red. Nothing like my usual period.

I have no cramps and was sick again this morning. If AF is here why can't she come out in full force instead of teasing me.

Have resigned myself to the fact I am not pregnant so having a cosy day and feeling sorry for myself!!! :( :( good luck with yours redbird x x

Hi mummy I've just caught up... Have you thought about going to the doctor? A blood test would be conclusive. I've been in your position before and totally convinced myself I was pregnant. Fortunately my GP has always been understanding and did bloods so I could know for sure one way or another.

It drove me crazy - I bet your head is all over the place!

I think that is it- I have convinced myself I am so therefore I think I am.

I don't think I am, and I just keep thinking there is always next month and the month after that haha!

I just want a baby :( will be having sexy time every day this month after the cow bag has gone! I will be pregnant before Christmas lol!!!

We are going to see the mortgage advisor this week so that's something to look forward too I suppose!

Feeling a bit more positive at the moment, was in tears earlier on the phone to the other half. I'm not a patient person!

Now to find ways to get duffed up easier! Lol x x thanks all x

Sorry to hear AF has arrived mummy although if it's any consolation i previously conceived the month after having a really light period.

Still crossing my fingers (although trying not to be too optimistic), really want it to happen this month as away with work at the prime time for next month....saying that not sure any more when prime time will be until/if AF arrives.

Will keep you updated after next test (or period arrival)....I agree v hard to not get obsessed, must not think about it, must get of MN & back to work!

How's it going red? Any news? It is so frustrating waiting, but me and the Oh are doing it properly this month we weren't really trying to figure out things etc but we were both gutted at AF yesterday so we are going full throttle after she had gone! Have ordered the temp thing and the ov sticks so will be using them. Hope they come with instructions lol! Its just the wait from ov to testing will kill me so have ordered some cheap ones as spent £40 On tests last week! Here's to a November BFP! Fxd x

Good luck getting your BFPs! I'm normally such a broody person but reading this and reminding myself of how hard it was to get pregnant in the first place makes me relieved that I'm never doing it again

No good news I'm afraid, another BFN this morning but still no sign of AF. Saw acupuncturist yesterday, she said my pulses felt different and could be a sign of pregnancy but I'm trying not to get my hopes up as all the tests are saying differently! Will test again in a couple of days, tomorrow will be a week since AF due.

Oh red its horrible isn't it. Why not go the the dr and get a blood test? Fingers crossed for BFP!! I'm sick of waiting to try again only 2 more days then I'm clear of AF and then will start OPK-ing in around 5 days. Have brought loads of cheapies from ebay to see if they work. X

Another BFN this morning! I have now given up on the idea that I could be pregnant and am trying to bring myself back to reality as it is now over a week since AF was due so I would definitely be testing positive by now if I was pregnant. Just seems that AF has gone AWOL this month for some reason which won't help with future planning.
Good luck mummy with ttc this month and I am hoping we also have more luck and my cycles get back to normal.

AF has finally arrived - 10 days late! So definitely not pregnant, just a really irregular cycle
