To run or not to run in the TWW, that is the question. Help me ladies!

So, despite being overweight I really love running. However I have found that if I run in the TWW I get brown discharge during the run. Nothing afterwards, just during. Now this morning, I normally run on a Monday, I decided not to go, but I have regretted it all day and really missed it.
I always run the same distance as it fits in to my morning well so I'm not pushing myself or doing anything I can't without a struggle.

So, should I go tomorrow, and indeed during the TWW at all?

What are your thoughts or experiences?

Well I've been TTCing for 14 cycles so far and it was only last cycle that I didn't run during the TWW. Right now I don't want to do anything to jeopardise it.
I asked the nurse when I had my smear and she suggested it could be hormones during running. I also asked the Fertility specialist and they didn't seem worried. But I still don't like it.

I can't help, but I'd love to know the answer to this question too. I run regularly, but although I know it's good to carry on exercising, I worry that running might be too high impact, and I don't want to do anything that will affect my chances. Last month was my first month ttc, and I carried on running, but I'm wondering whether I should take it easier this month (I've already cut out my usual workouts just in case, as I'm pretty sure they're too intense) .

hmm, i don't run anymore, because for some mad reason i do worry it will interfere with implantation. I know logically that it isn't true (unless over doing it) - though maybe there are issues if you always spot as pipbin does. However this will be my last cycle of trying in this way- ie. charting, no running etc as i can't put my life on hold anymore. FWIW i have read on other sites- mainly american ones, of women who do run during 2WW and they found they had no issues with it and got BFP- well enough of them to show it really shouldn't interfere with a normal conception. Many said running kept them sane and they'd be so stressed if they stopped that they probably wouldnt get pregnant then!

I'm pretty sure that running straight after dtd isn't a good idea but other than that I think keeping up with exercise (as long as you're not overdoing it) is a good idea.

One of my best friends is a very serious runner, runs 5 times a week and she had no problems getting pregnant. Her last run (10k) was 3 days before her daughter was born!!!!!

I think if I wasn't spotting I would keep going. However with the spotting I just don't want to risk it.
Assuming I don't manage it by myself before October I've got my next fertility clinic appointment so I'll check with them then. I think there is little point in asking the GP as they are not specialists really.
