Hello everyone! Mind if i join you?! Ive only done this once before when pg with DS who is now 19 months, so im a bit rusty on my acronyms. would somebody please be so kind as to translate ones frequently used here?

Only a week or so into TTC (the only one i do remember!) so trying not to be to bothered about it as the first time around we barely had to look at each other when DS was conceived.

Anyway, looking foward to keeping up with everyones posts!

I'm ovulating right now ( I think ) so everything crossed.

Welcome Larty74 I got pregnant first month too with my DS (13months), just starting 3rd cycle , got pregnant first cycle again this time but unfortunately had a very early miscarriage, fingers crossed for this month, would love to get pregnant this month or next cos it would really suit for work but need to stop putting pressure on myself cos there's nothing I can do about it!

I'm on 4th month of trying. It would suit me for work too, I work in a college so taking maternity leave as students finish their year would be perfect.
But just pregnant at any time will do just fine! Got a cautious good feeling about this month... But maybe is just blind hope...

AF due tomorrow/day after for me so been POAS for a few days now All negative and not expecting anything tbh as this is first month trying. Although....random hopeful symptom checker: spots, slight constipation and felt sick for a bit on Saturday ha ha

Myself and my DH are teachers so if I had a baby in July/August he would be around to help me because he would be off work til Sept.

Shellshock know what you mean about the symptom spotting I was CONVINCED I was pregnant last month...

Hmmm, AF was due Mon / Tues and I've had the pains but its not arrived

All tests negative, very strange.

Ouch! Nipples are very sore/sensitive. Sometimes happens when ovulating but that should have been sun/mon, maybe I'm ovulating late? Can that happen?

purple interesting cos I ovulated CD 12/13 but usually I ovulate CD 15/16 so a change for me too, I suppose it change from month to month.

purple I thought time to ovulation changes but time post ovulation stays pretty constant (luteal phase?) so could be that you are later this month?

magoo still no AF so it's still possible, tho testing negative? Does this happen when actually pregnant?! Will test again in the morning if still nothing

Shell yes you can have a false nengative but not a false positive, my cousin was really nauseous but everytime she tested she got a negative but she was pregnant , fingers crossed for you x

Nope It's arrived, gutted cos I'd had perfect 29 day cycles since DS arrived and now this has happened so not sure where that leaves us.

It's not going to plan here either, DPs just lost his job so as much as it hurts we're not 'actively' TTC. If it happens great but not pushing it.

So I'm on CD 18 and have bigger boobs, even DH noticed, here we go again the symptom spotting has begun!

My DSIL had a miscarriage yesterday at 9 weeks, their 4th miscarriage in 2 years, so sad for them, I should be 10 weeks so if it had worked out for both of us there would only have had a week between us, would have been nice....

Hello, never posted before, but taking my last pill on Friday and not going to start a new packet. Scared and excited, but so looking forward to a new baby and DS having a little brother or sister.

Half way through the 2ww... CD22 today...

Hi all.

Cd27 here. Was looking back at the info I wrote down when I got pregnant with Ds. My first post-pill cycle then was 32 days and my conception date (according to the scans) was about 27 days after the start of my second cycle of trying.

So I have no idea at all when I should be getting my next period. I'm planning to wait until at least Sunday, which is cd32 and test if no af by then.

So much for me not overthinking things!

jollyjack I would say waiting till CD32 to test is pretty damn good

So we are giving up on the shettles method now my cycle length has gone mad and just gonna DTD every other day this month and hope for the best....it has it's plus sides then

Went to a fashion show with the girls I work with on Weds night, had a shocking hangover after 4 drinks, had a brutal hangover while pregnant with DS over Xmas two years ago ( didn't know I was pregnant I hasten to add!) , it happened a friend of mine too so maybe?? and I was boiling in bed last night, Oh dear I'm thinking about this way too much CD 22 here so won't be testing for another 10 days.....

Oooo magoo all the planets are aligning fingers crossed. There are literally no girls if you follow the male line down my DHs family so it was an extremely long shot anyway!

No symptoms magoo, just the boob thing but thing I'm clutching at straws. Af due sun/mon so not long to wait now, but not optimistic. I have a stinking cold and been downing the paracetamol and night nurse so wouldn't make the healthiest pregnancy anyway!
But will keep u posted. Good luck to the rest of u x
