Hi

Thinking of getting some ovulation strips or kit off eBay and wondered if you guys had any recommendations??

Thanks!

Clearblue digital are the best if you don't want to faff around with trying to read the lines (which I could never get the hang of)

These are only good if you have regular cycles though. They are worse than useless when it comes to people with PCOS or on clomid, as they read an excess of LH. But if you have a rough idea of when you do ov and just want confirmation so to speak, then they can be v helpful.

Sorry to jump on your question but I was wondering the same thing!
How many sticks do you get on cb? I was reading online and got baffled on how to use it!
Where is the best place to buy it & what's a good price to pay?
Thanks x

Hi

I used www.zoombaby.co.uk with DS1, worked like clockwork. I personally ordered a lot in bulk expecting to need to use them throughout the month. I tended to test at night c 8/9.

2nd ttc not so...

Did buy at great expense a CBFM to help me ID when. I stubbornly ignored PCOS warning and have wasted 6 months, as I don?t think it is making any sense. So back to zoom baby!

Good luck.

I bought cheap LH tests off eBay, I think they are all much of a muchness. Was a bit concerned about interpreting lines but when I got a positive it was obvious.

You can get the clear blue ones a bit cheaper on eBay but I'd rather have more of the cheap ones and test twice daily- I had a negative at 2pm followed by a positive at 7pm

Thanks for the advice. I'm going to give the clear blue ones ago first and see how I get on as they seem v simple to use! Fingers crossed!

I've just finished my first pack of CB digital and I won't be buying them again. Far from being simple I found them overly complicated, and slightly patronising with the smile, and the instructions to ignore what is on the actual test stick inside the digital wrapper. If I hadn't noticed a faint double line on the insert I wouldn't have thought to test later in the day and I would have missed the LH surge that appeared later in the day and had gone again by the next morning.
With ds1 I used first response sticks I think, they were nice and simple, but they don't seem to be available anymore. I've ordered some of boots own brand for next month.
