Symptoms but -ve pg test - confused

Hi all

I'm on day 23 of my cycle and for the past couple of days I've been feeling mildly sick and have had slightly sensitive boobs. I know it's early but I did a test yesterday and today with the First Response 6 days early one and they were both negative.

I'm confused as I am having symptoms - has anyone had something similar and then found out they were pregnant?

What tests have you been using Jaffacakehips?

I've been useing...first response and the cheap ones from Superdrug and Tesco.

Have a Clueblue one which i've not used yet.

Any suggestions MrsBradley?

Clearblue digital is your friend if you're unsure...no faint lines just 'pregnant' or 'not pregnant' spelled out! Not cheap though so I tend to use them only if I'm not 100%

jaffacakehips · 03/07/2012 20:27

I've had no faint lines at all MrsHels....not really sure what to do, don't want to waste the Clearblue but at the same time feed up with waiting for AF to arrive. Do you think i might be too early to test?

MrsBradleyCooper · 03/07/2012 20:46

I second the clearblue digital. I was getting no lines on the tests I was doing and then did a digi and it came up pregnant pretty quickly.

Are you normally quite regular? Do you think you could have ovulated late?

Well I was a week late before I got a positive result so it might be worth waiting a few more days (I know how hard it is though!).
As I said clearblue digital are expensive but they are not open to misinterpretation.

Not meaning to be awkward but I wouldn't use clearblue digital. With DD I used one when I got my faint + on tesco and first response, CB digital said 'not pregnant'. Having said that I know loads of women recommend them so maybe mine was faulty?! At nearly £10 each though I won't be using one again!

No need AF has arrived..

Thanks for the advice. Wishing us all BFP soon

Sorry to hear that Jaffa - hope you are ok x

If I hold today's test towards the window I'm certain there IS a very very faint line.

MrsBradleyCooper · 06/07/2012 13:52

Oooh seven77 - sounds very promising...! How are you feeling?

seven77 · 06/07/2012 17:57

Very excited, and terrified as I already have 2, one being 7 months!

MrsBradleyCooper · 06/07/2012 18:45

Congratulations!
