Hi Ladies,

Wondering desperately what is going on with my body, tested yesterday at 14dpo and got a positive (albeit a faint one!) with a clearblue (one of the old fashioned ones with a line not digital) didn't use first wee of the day. Tested again today - again not first urine with a digital and also an Internet cheapie - both negative :( I did put both tests in the same wee stream iyswim could this have messed things up (clutching desperately at straws) or is this just a chemical pregnancy? Any help/similar experiences appreciated. Sorry of garbled on my phone!

Just looking for some advise
My last period started on the 24th of October I am 3 days late. Took a first response test last wednesday it showed up positive one hour later I took a clear blue test which was negative. So left it for a few days and today bought boots brand 2 pack first test positive one hour later negative. I have cramps on and off the last few days. what should I do now? could I be pregnant?

@Lislashes I'm fairly certain clear blue tests are not as sensitive as FRER. So getting a negative after a positive is not unusual in that case.

I don't know how sensitive the boots tests are but if you only have a low level of hormone in your wee because it's still early days, the first test might show as positive (if it was FMU or first morning urine). The second wee might have been too diluted.

I would personally go out and buy another two first response tests. They're the most sensitive. Then wait until the morning and test again.

If you google you can see how sensitive tests are - e.g. - https://community.babycenter.com/post/a30635441/pregnancytesttsensitivitylisttinformation

How many days PO are you? Sometimes the fertilised egg can implant as late as 12days PO and then the hormone (which the test looks for) can take days to build up in your system.

Do you definitely know you ovulated on a certain day? (Eg did you test?) you might have even ovulated a few days later and not realised.

Hope that helps and good luck
