My test today positive. No squinting needed but its nowhere near as dark as cntrl line. Dh wants me to get digital test today also. I think I am pregnant but there is a little doubt lurking in there.
for what its worth I drank loads of grapefruit juice before ov and pineapple after ov. Taking vit b complex cos I read u absorb more b6 if u have enough of the other bs. Who knows if it helped or not...

Sounds like your preggo zoon! Do a digital today, it'll be positive and then don't poas over Xmas again! Just enjoy your Xmas!
Now I'm a bit less , I don't feel particually like I'm going to get AF today. Don't feel moody enough . I would be reasonably pleased even if I got AF tmrw as that would mean the b6 had pushed the LP up to 11 days which would be much better. We will see what happens later today.

I've not tested again, I know I'll be comparing and get worried. Had a panic a bit earlier as felt a little 'damp' but still no sign of AF who is due yesterday or today...

to the friend who weaned @ 12 months. bad day here, not really bothered whether I get pregnant or not! both me and the baby in a VERY bad mood. Christmas can go fuck itself quite frankly.

I THINK I can see the two top teeth showing though which hopefully explains it from her angle, although I'm VERY nervous about her having teeth that can meet in the middle given her biting history...I left her with her dad for 5mins and when i came back she was merrily gagging on a piece of book she'd bitten off, so i had an argument with him about that (how did he not hear the choking, she was right next to him!? )

Sorry youve had a bad day bo peep! He didn't hear her because he's a man and they havent got a clue. Ds has been ill for almost a week with cough, sore throat, fever and was breathing really fast in his sleep the other night, I went into dh worried and said do you think we should call someone and he replied " I've no idea" in the most disinterested please fuck off and let me sleep tone of voice ever! I am not his biggest fan this week.
Thankfully ds has got antibiotics now so is feeling better.
Have no clue what's going on with me. 10 dpo. No AF as expected but had killer cramps on and off all day. Can't decide wether they are uterine related or bowel related. Very low down and uncomfortable. Sometimes get this at ov but pretty sure it's not that as no ewcm and usually have loads. Have felt sick today several times but am Knackered and had drank loads of coffee. Also the fact I got a bfn this am might suggest both these symptoms were not Preg related.
Decided not to test again tmrw, will see if AF shows first. Could live with AF tmrw as that would make LP 11 days which is an improvement and means the b6 is helping.

BigBoPeep want to say he's just being a man too. DH has a very similar incident. When DH was 7mo and poorly, he stayed home to look after her. I was back at work but coming home to bf. I came back to a DH snuggling in bed with a DD that was too lethargic to nurse or look at me even. I was so angry. DH just said, I thought she was just tired! She was admitted to the hospital for bronchiolitis when we took her to a&e.

We aren't having a good Xmas here either. DD was sick last night. She is now in her last PJ and all her fitted sheets are in the washing machine. Both her sleeping bags too. So loads of washing and drying this morning, while praying she won't vomit again [again].

Not sure what's with my body either. I don't know if I have ovulated yet. No positive opks. But no ewcm this morning anymore. I can't see a temp shift but I'm rubbish at bbt charting. (No 3 hour sleep, not always first thing). So who knows. We are probably going to be too knackered to dtd tonight so it won't matter. Didn't last night either as we were dealing with sick DD.

11dpo. No AF, bfn still.

11dpo would still be early for a BFP so still a chance. But either way congrats on the longer LP!

Hope all your little ones are better. The vomiting is the worst at least it doesnt normally last long.
Jakey, sounding positive!!! An improvement whatever happens.
Grapefruit Juice meant to encourage ovulation and pineapple juice for implantation. I also drank endless amounts of rasberry leaf tea (yuck)! Its also meant to be good for implantation.

I'm really hoping I ovulated
I did get a positive opk and ov pain and loads of ewcm which dried up the day after the latter. I also had such sore nips bf was really uncomfortable. haven't had any since so if I didn't ov then I still haven't now.
If I haven't had AF fri then I will buy a better test. That will be 14dpo. If its still bfn then I'm obviously clueless about when I ov and there won't be any chance of pregnancy because that's the last time we dtd.
I did have pretty heavy duty cramping yesterday so maybe implantation which maybe means hcg wouldnt register until at least tmrw. Or maybe I ov'd yesterday but then I had no ewcm or other symptoms to suggest I did.
God this is doing my head in

But with a respectable 12 day LP which should make things easier in the future.

Don't know for sure it helped but out of 7 TTC cycles (includes DD) the 2 I used it ive got pg... And made the use of preseed less... Soggy

TMI alert - dtd last night, showered this morn, all clean, ewcm this eve...was that just me expelling some, er, husbandry leavings? or signs of something more positive fertilitively?

They say ewcm doesn't soak into a tissue and husbandly leavings do. So you can do a tissue test.

Well my moon cups arrived and I've started my first ever cycle of temping. Feeling more positive about things now my LP seems a bit longer.
Also I was speaking to my brother in laws wife, they met later in life so have only started ttc at 40. Since then, she's miscarried twins and had two chemical pregnancies. She now doesn't think she's ovulating as hasnt caught since and is awaiting blood results. Drs are thinking early menopause. Made me think how lucky I am to have ds and even if it takes ages to have another, or we never manage it all, I'm alot better off than some. What will be will be and I need to count my blessings and chill out about it.
So my New Years resolution is to stop spending everyday in imaginary pregnancy land and enjoy the one I've got!....... Wonder how long that will last

Jakey have you got a special bbt thermometer? I think I'm going to get one for next cycle because my cheapo boots doesn't have a memory function. It's a real PITA to have to wake up properly to read the thermometer and enter the temp in the fertility friend app. My in-ear thermometer can do memory but completely fails at doing bbt. (I can get widely different temps if I take my temperature multiple times in a row).

Feel so sorry for your sil. I get really angry when people suggests how older mums put careers first and it's our fault we left it too late to have children. Not everyone is so lucky to have met the right men in their twenties. Even if we have, many men aren't ready to have father at that age. I always tell myself the same thing, I'm really lucky already to have DD. Two of my friends from university are struggling with fertility problems. One finally had a baby this year age 39, and the other is still childless.

Yes I've got a proper bbt thermometer. I bought it off eBay for about 2 quid. Not sure of its got a memory. Just put it straight in the app this am. You're right, it's a total faff at that time of the morning but I seem to have had some false positive opk's in the last couple of cycles and charting seems to be the only way of confirming that I've def ov'd.
There's no way I will be able to temp at the same time every day and I never get 3 hrs unbroken sleep due to the milk monster so I'm not sure how accurate it will be. Have read conflicting advice about it. Some sites say it doesn't really matte so we will see

you're too right jakey - tbh, i love my lil DD so much and would be perfectly happy just to have one, the broodiness and not getting that BFP buzz again i guess is just one of those things i'd have to live with innit? but i do think two would be better, not just as playmates as we live in the middle of nowhere, more for when me and her dad aren't around....

i have two sisters and never speak to either of them - the thought of 'being on my own' when my mum dies doesnt bother me BUT i look at the wonderful relationship hubby has with his brother and think i may have a warped view of things....

so if i have to have two i wanna get it over and done with - pregnancy STINKS, and i'd rather not have a jealous older sibling who's got used to the status quo iyswim?

Hey. Had a month off obsessing last month but now I'm back!

So this month I bought a CB digi OPK. Smiley face said I'm ovulating today at CD18. My cycle is 26/27 days so that's not good news. We just DTD anyway, but I'm going to have to look into b vitamins, grapefruit juice, general woo stuff like fertility dances at the full moon etc now.

Where do you guys buy your b vits? Any recommendations?

Oh and DS has been feeding ridiculous amounts over Christmas. It's like having a newborn all over again. He's 18mo and no obvious signs for it. Maybe it's all the lack of routine, endless visitors and daddy being around that's thrown him. Anyone else's baby reacted to Christmas like this?
