Have a breastfed baby or toddler? Why not try for another one?! Who needs sleep anyway?

Come join us whether you are waiting for your first period in months or are are a few months into trying.

zoon it's 29 days for the last two months. I'm on day 12 but opk is still negative. This is the first month I'm tracking my temp and using opks, so I'm not entirely certain how long my luteal phase usually is. But I'm kind of expecting a +ve opk today if I ovulate on the textbook day 14.

Exciting, hope opk turns +ve soon. I am on cd 40 (maybe 9dpo or 10 dpo- if I ovulated at all) and I am expecting the witch anytime now. If my cycles remain this long each time ttc could take a very long time.

Don't think we'd manage the frequency of SMEP, sounds like hard work ;)

And I don't feel 'cool as a cucumber', but am really trying not to test. Itchy nipples earlier, a bit sick feeling and 'gassy' too. But I've had more definite symptoms and still a BFN!

Just one more morning to not POAS :)

I am going to follow your example and try not to test too.. I think it's better for the sanity. It's a bit easier for me though as LP is unlikely to be much more than 10 days so I technically can test in another 5 days. Not so long to wait.
I had no symptoms with ds jenni so I think it's sounding good.
Bo peep sorry about bfn. It's still could be too early. Stay in imaginary Pregnancy land for a few more days. Smile
I think SMEP is the way forward. Told dh about it. He actually didn't mind it as on paper it looks like less dtd as its not every day like I've been demanding! It's all about the reverse psychology with these men Wink

Dh is doing SMEP original. There's only been once where he said he couldn't dtd when we should have, and that was when he was ill. Tbf I think he's just getting it whilst he can as he knows there will be no more if I get pregs for ages. Grin. When I was Preg with ds I think we dtd once at about 12 weeks and I had this ridiculous over sensitivity thing and couldn't bear it and we didn't do it again until ds was about 8 weeks. Even after that it was few and far between as I'd always got Velcro baby attached to me! It's all so romantic. YHmm

Don't get my hopes up! And yep, tomorrow morning with a clear blue digi is the plan. Pg at Xmas do would be really hard to hide as its been organised so I couldn't drive there, and there is wine provided with dinner. And a small company (9 of us going...) who are all likely to say "no wine? You pregnant then?" Including the boss.

So at least ill be able to have a few glasses of wine if its a BFN...

Is message 790 too late to join? We're just gearing up to start ttc #2. DD is 14mo, am still bfing (mostly bedtime, night and morning as working ft), she shows no signs of wanting to stop, BUT I have yet to have a period since conceiving DD. Does anyone have any thoughts on what I can do other than stopping bfing to kick-start my hormones? Am really torn between wanting to carry on bfing and wanting to get pregnant again!

CorporeSarnie welcome, ofc it's not too late to join. A lot of the early posters are now graduates. Have you thought about night weaning? You can see if that helps before considering completely stopping. Besides night weaning could give you a better sleep, and you might need that if you want to dtd lotsWink.

Hi Corpore! My af came back at 16 mnths. I work full time and co sleep. Ds feeds all night long. I dont intend to give up. Its too much of a good tool!

Welcome corporal, I'd hang on a few more months and see if AF comes back. Most of us were just beginning to get broody when ours returned so I wonder if its all part of the plan.
I co sleep and ds feeds all night at 18 months, AF came back when he was one but the bf Is giving me irregular cycles and a short LP thus no bfp yet. I'm not weaning either. Too much hard work. Although. Ds has not asked for boob since 7am. This is unheard of. It's probably because my milk tastes different with the imaginary pregnancy GrinGrin

Hiya corpore! I can't help as despite feeding every 1.5h day and night my AF came back at 7 months!

I will test on the morning at around 6am I should think. Unless in desperate to wee at 5am ;) really hoping this is it as am starting to think maybe I'm just meant to have one! No broodiness here, just feel I don't want DD to be an only child :(

I'm really broody Sad. I checked out baby names on MN this afternoon at work. Was imagining a lovely sister for my DD. I short listed two names for my imaginary bump. It's definitely is imaginary as I haven't even ovulated yet this month.

Did a super sensitive dippy and Cbd just to be on the safe side. Line appeared on stick in seconds and cb says 2-3 (not true but plenty of hcg!) I am in shock as it really is a BFP!!!!

Got a text lady night to say the person driving is sick so had already selflessly volunteered to drive people :)

Feeling quite in shock, and thinking I ought to try to find out about the effect of pg on bf etc but not sure where to start!

I do hope there are more BFPs this month. It was my first with preseed and mooncup though...
