Have a breastfed baby or toddler? Why not try for another one?! Who needs sleep anyway?

Come join us whether you are waiting for your first period in months or are are a few months into trying.

Bad luck about AF jenni Sad onward we march to next month!
AF here today too, 25 day cycle. Totally random. Oh well means less time to wait until next ov day and I'm not being ill this time round!! Wink

LolaDontCryOverSlitThroats · 28/10/2012 14:47

Hi all, Congratulations thinking Thanks

I think we should all be positive for you and cheer, give this little dot a good vibe see if it hangs around!

Well AF still here, i had a little while feeling sorry for myself but what's the point?, I have done that before, instead we have been concentrating on our wonderful boy! his speaking is coming along wonderfully, his saying 4-5 word sentences in the last couple of days too which is strange as it makes him seem grown up.

Sorry about everyone else getting AF too.

BigBoPeep · 29/10/2012 18:25

OneLittleToddlingTerror · 30/10/2012 12:42

Went on a nice weekend holiday and back to such good news from thinkingof4. The rest of us hopefully will jump on the august bus Grin Hopefully everyone is over their sickness bug too.

HairyToothbrush · 06/11/2012 07:48

I got a bfp two days ago. I'm still in shock, I really didn't think it would happen as dd still feeds like a newborn!

jennimoo · 06/11/2012 19:04

Congratulations hairytoothbrush that's great news! Hopefully we'll get some more BFPs in the next weeks.

Not sure if ill be lucky as very stressed with work but hopefully getting it sorted now...

Jakeyblueblue · 06/11/2012 22:33

Congrats hairy toothbrush! Lets hope the luck is with the rest of us this month!
I've just found out my bf friend is preggers too so am feeling very broody now!
All looking good this end. Still not doing opk's but no ewcm yet and on cd 11. Been dtd every other day just in case though. Got a good feeling about this month Smile

MalkieFraser · 07/11/2012 09:42

Hello! I have not had a 'real' period yet, but had a random one day bleed on the 17th. DTD nine days later and I've been feeling off ever since. I always get early symptoms but I'm wondering how likely it is that I could be pregnant this time round. Due on Wednesday so too early to test. Symptoms are most probably period related?

HairyToothbrush · 07/11/2012 10:03

Thank you. I hope there are some more bfp's this month!

OneLittleToddlingTerror · 07/11/2012 16:06

Congratulations hairytoothbrush.

I wasn't very hopeful this month because of sickness bugs and DH away for work during the all important week. But when CD26 and CD27 come and gone, I was starting to imagine I might be pregnant. I even felt I got harder boobs. I had cycles of 26 and 27 days for the past two months you see. But usually it's 28 days. Now today I'm at CD28 and I am spotting Sad. I'm sure AF will be here in 1-2 days, making this a 30 day cycle. Oh well, I know chances are low this month but I just thought I might be lucky as sperm could live 7 days inside isn't it?

I can't believe I keep getting those I'm pregnant messages irl too. Now 5 mums I met during maternity are pregnant! They all have their babies about the same time as me. I can't rant this to DH as he thinks it'll just happen if it happens.

OneLittleToddlingTerror · 07/11/2012 16:07

Thanks hairytoothbrush I'm having high hopes for next month. But DH has another work trip. Lets hope it has better timing!

Jakeyblueblue · 08/11/2012 20:23

Cd12 here and ewcm. Dtd everyday. Must get pregnant, must get pregnant, must get pregnant, must get pregnant!.......

jennimoo · 11/11/2012 19:03

Hello. Cd16 here. Don't know if I have / will ovulate this month. Suffered from really bad spell of anxiety and a night of insomnia the beginning of last week and although OPK got darkish it didn't quite seem like a + and cm not been quite so EWy as usual. Temperature has gone up very slightly I think but not sure what's going to happen :(

OneLittleToddlingTerror · 11/11/2012 19:10

jennimoo if no one is sick, and you are not knackered, just dtd as much as you are willing and hope for the best!

RainbowsFriend · 11/11/2012 23:23

Hello, I've been following the thread but not posted before.

Currently still BF a 16 month old milk monster who still feeds many times in the night - and just had my first period! :)

Anyway - I've started temp charting and am on day 26, and my temp is going up and down like a yo yo! - What's going on?!

jennimoo · 12/11/2012 07:28

Hi rainbowsfriend

I found my first cycle after AF returned was really long. I expect my temperatures would have been all over the place as my body sorted itself out, but wasn't even close to being ready to TTC #2 so wasn't paying much attention!

However 2nd cycle was back to a normal sort of length. So maybe next month will be easier to chart, if you don't get a BFP this one. Good luck!

minicc · 12/11/2012 08:14

Good morning all, bf my nearly 1 yr and recently dropped to just 1 bedtime feed. Got my first period 6 months ago but My first period since just 1 feed has been all over the place- spotting and cramping since day 21 but def not pregnant. Anyone else experience this? feeling a bit confused and nervous that my body is going mad!

OneLittleToddlingTerror · 12/11/2012 08:43

Rainbowsfriend and minicc. My period came back when DD was 1 yo. I wasn't thinking about ttc at all and so didn't chart, temp or even keep track of my period at all! I don't think my period was all over the place, however. I started using fertility friend and noted the first day of my period and ewcm a couple of months ago. I tried temping but it's quite difficult to be consistent. Fertility friend complained even when I took my temperature an hour later than normal. So I have given up on that!

RainbowsFriend · 12/11/2012 21:47

Thanks for that - I get pretty disturbed sleep still with DD so it might be that I suppose..... ah well here's looking forward to next cycle then!

OneLittleToddlingTerror · 12/11/2012 21:57

RainbowsFriend the sleep is a problem too. I think the tutorial for fertility friend says the temperature must be taken when you first wake up after a 3 hour sleep. And it must be around the same time everyday. I wouldn't get too worried about the basal temperature.

RainbowsFriend · 12/11/2012 22:06

Lol! I NEVER get 3 hours in a row....

TizzyNo1 · 13/11/2012 13:29

Hello. Not been on for a bit but felt should update. After a scan at 6 +2 that showed a heartbeAt the one at 8+2 showed it stopped. Heartbroken, can't believe this was my 2nd missed mc and 4th mc. Had erpc yesterday as found waiting oh so stressful, plus sac was still growing so I was getting a tummy and preg tiredness still and couldn't hack being reminded. All done now I guess. Feel shite but slightly better as can move on. So, no more ttc whilst b feeding for me. I've had clotting blood tests and all clear but I can't do this again, it's too hard. Will wait til ds weans, see how over the hill I feel and decide whether I'm up to trying again and taking low dose aspirin again . Trying to get my head around ds being an only child. Up and down with it. It's not too bad is it??? Sorry to bring down the mood. Best of luck all xxx

remnant · 13/11/2012 20:05

Tizzy, just popped back into this thread to see how everyone is doing and very sorry to read your comment. How horribly sad it must be for you. Glad you feel you can move on.

Do you mind if I ask how much are you still feeding ds1? How old is he?

I've just given up all but morning feed with ds to see if that helps with the ttc. I suspect I'm just too old now though and trying to reconcile myself to ds being an only child. There are some positives there. Still, there probably no reason for you to give up hope for another time.

TizzyNo1 · 13/11/2012 21:22

Hi Remnant, he's 2 and still feeds loads - at least 7 or 8 times a day sometimes more with little munches here and there. I've got preg twice so conceiving isn't the problem, it's miscarrying. With ds I took low dose aspirin but I don't want to risk using it when feeding ds as it will pass into breastmilk. I don't want to wean him as he's clearly not ready and I still might miscarry anyway. Crap!
