When is nausea no longer o related?

So I've read that nausea during the tww can be attributed to progesterone as a result of o rather than pregnancy. I've also read this nausea will 'peak' halfway through the tww (so 7dpo on average).

I was wondering if this is right? And when you can start to hope that the nausea is pg related rather than normal post o stuff?

I have maybe one morning of nausea at around 3dpo normally but this month I've been sick to my stomach off and on since 5dpo (currently 8dpo). Was v sick with my first so trying and failing not to get my hopes up.

Plus I've tested and it's negative (obviously..) so please someone slap me for being so impatient.

Tis true. after over a year of ttc have finally accepted 2ww symptoms are indeed that and not early pregnancy symptoms :(

And 7dpo for sickness would make sense. I'm between 5-7dpo and this morning almost puked whilst cleaning teeth.

sorry to disappoint, but suspect it's progesterone and not pregnancy. Yet...might still be v soon! Fx

What a mean system..

And what a mean body I have. The one month I might actually be knocked up (haven't been trying previously) is the month my progesterone plays tricks on me.

My theory is that normally I just don't notice my body that much, or would put it down to something else. It's only because I'm obsessing about ttc that I notice!

I have had every pregnancy symptom google has ever known just never with the actual pregnancy. But then perhaps you are pregnant ocean with or without the puke. Toes crossed for you.

So I've been doing some research and apparently there's something called the 'early pregnancy factor' which is (are?) hormones released by a fertilised egg before it implants. It lowers your immune system to stop it attacking the egg and can cause 'pregnancy' symptoms.

Now not every fertilised egg will implant and become a viable pregnancy, so that could explain pg symptoms during a tww ending in a BFN.

Or of course it could all be psychosomatic ;)

well I'm very excited in that case as I felt nauseous this morning, went off my normal morning tea, and woke with a sharp pain which was clearly implantation.

Very definitely early pregnancy symptoms and not at all psychosomatic!
